I was wondering what the motivation for cleaning up the yard and planting a bunch of motley brico plants as a "hedge" was all about. An abrupt change of advertised plan from building Annelise her bootroom and bathroom.
He was throwing her a crumb so's he could take this pricey junket to Turkey. I doubt very seriously if there was any discount. Literally bread from his childrens' mouths.
And by the way, I think plastic teeth look like shit. Why disfigure healthy teeth?
No exceptions.
Also, what was he doing carving turkey for dinner at the shittoo? Is he now sous chef? Curious, if he were willing to chef, that Stephanie did not hire him to do so.
In exchange for room and board

If I can't say anything nice.... but f'k me he doesn't think he'll get jumped in that getup does he???
Just so embarrassing wasn't it? All about him too as he obviously persuaded them into doing it as it was his birthday! 🤮 AND, the music was really far too loud.
I so wish that Selmar would get a proper hair cut for the love of God.
The kids were bored witless within minutes and perhaps only a new couple attended from last time to boot. The pretty girl and the volunteer that looked like a waiter in the last vlog were nowhere to be seen.
Why are those chateau owners indulging Selmar to this extent?
Still think that Ross is rather dishy but Emma's choice of dresses is so extraordinarily strange - where does she get those awful '80s dresses from, thinking the local brocante perhaps? Always seems to be the mistake that most expats make, e.g think SJ/PJ???
She is far too attractive to dress up in those clothes added to which, the clunky shoes too. Imho, she just needs to finally get a decent haircut but I will forgive her as she has obviously been working far too hard at their chateau recently to worry about that, but, after a good cut removing all those wispy ends, she would look so much younger.

Apparently, someone came to her door and told her to. So she didn’t really understand them and had it drained.
it was the French water Police. In France you have to pay to Upkeep a body of water on your Land, maintaining structures, protecting ecosystems etc. The legislation is quite complex. they paid her a visit, she was there on her own and I think she was going to be fined ( I could be wrong in that) so she panicked and emptied the lake. She makes out it was their fault.
here’s a bit if Info I found

PLEASE DO! I'm seriously considering going to Turkey for one and would love to hear what folks have to say.
If i would have to choose between Turkey and The Netherlands i would 100% go to Turkey.
1. They seem like a machine, doing several cosmetic surgeries a day so they have had practiced their trade more often.
2. It cost half the money to get in done there. And after the surgery you can explore the city. (Checked ex flight the whole trip would cost 3350, nl charges 7k)
3. No one stares at you, because there are so many people walking arround in bandages, bruised, swollen.

If i would choose a doctor there, I would check instagram and find the doctors who have foreign and local patients. Google their clinic on google streetview. Just to make sure it exist and and it doesnt looks shady. Read the reviews on google too. I wouldn't see a doctor who wouldnt have a lot of reviews and not a great social media presence as in posting since 2012.

I'm just pondering here - but all the subterfuge is primarily so the money doesn't go down. right?
Given that there are so many schmucks/people willing to give money to strangers for nothing, I'm not so sure the numbers would fluctuate so wildly that the money would reduce by large amounts if the smoke and mirrors shite was just given up.
Is it for their own enjoyment then?
To see how much they can fool the viewers?
or is it genuinely all about the algorhythms and viewership/patronage?

I wonder if there was a timeline on Nikki's generosity - perhaps she had 'loaned' Marie her French cottage for a couple of months to help Marie get established, but then rent was going to kick in and time was running out - so what next, a 'Bring Marie Back' vlog.

We've all suffered bouts of depression or know friends and loved one's who have been afflicted with depression: we know it's not something to be swept under the rug or dismissed. I have no doubt Marie has some deep-seeded issues and whole-heartedly wish she would get professional medical attention for her emotional (depression) and physical (thryoid) needs.

However, my spider sense says that while Marie is down in the dumps her recent cry for help is very manipulative. Fanny is only 'saving Marie' for image control. Two very manipulative women in an unhealthy dynamic.

Returning to the shiteau and living with Stephanie et al is the last place Marie should be. The shiteau became an unhealthy environment for Marie and nothing has changed: in fact it's only gotten worse at the shiteau and Fanny has new victims playmates to live, love and laugh with now. What is Marie going to do at the shiteau? There's no job for her at the shiteau, Fanny won't want her there for very long and it's untenable in the long-run. It's a short-term holding pen and not a real fix for Marie's problems.

Marie returned home to Norway at Christmas and that didn't restore her. You can't go backwards - Marie has to begin to stand on her own 2 feet, grow-up, begin slowly to move forward and get a real job that doesn't involve grifting.
All good points, well argued, for someone who is not clinically depressed.
Very few people suffer clinical depression -- for example, 8.4% of US adults.
I repeat, it is not moral depravity.
And treatment is not being told you're morally depraved.
Here is the official US medical authority definition of clinical depression. It's not what I have, or you have, or most people have.

Here is the NHS definition, in case you think Americans are snowflakes.

This made my day 🤣🤣🤣

Bald Headed Men Lyrics
I don't like men who exaggerate
About the places they've been
About the money they make
I like a man who's honest and true
Who can look you in the eye
When they talk to you
I like men who accept who they are
Not everybody can look like a movie star
If you can follow this thought
To it's logical end
You can see why I like bald headed men

She said it before
She's say it again
I like bald headed men

Everybody knows it's testosterone
That turns a bushy haired man
Into a chrome-dome
But testosterone
Is what makes a man a man
The more that he's got
The more that he can
Do the things that make the women go
OY!
I'll take a bald headed man
Over a big haired boy
Big haired boys make very good friends
But they cannot compare
To the bald headed men

She said it before
She's say it again
I like bald headed men

Why would you waste your money
Joining that hair club for guys?
Why would you cover
Your manly badge of honor
With such a bad disguise?
Why would you blow your money
On Rogaine and Minoxidil
When all it can guarantee
Are years and years of pharmacy bills?
Please don't do it

Yes, we believe the hair replacement industry for men
Is like the cosmetic industry for women
A giant black hole that will just suck your money away
For the rest of your lives
Please don't do it

No matter how you fight it
Time marches on
Some new things appear
Some old things are gone
Let 'em go, it's a natural thing
Like a leaf off a tree
Like a bird on a wing
Try looking in your mirror
From a whole different place
You're not losing hair
You're gaining face
Be confident, be cool
It won't be long when
You are proud
To be one of the bald headed men

She said it before
She'll say it again
I love bald headed men

John Malkovich - love him
That guy on Star trek: The Next Generation - love him
Michael Jordan - love him
Tom Paxton - love him
Alan Brady - love him
Burt Reynolds - love him
Yul Brenner - loved him
Telly Savalas who loves ya, baby?
