What we can ascertain from watching Lottie on the ‘Final Five’

1. Not even her own mother gets on with her.
2. She has no friends.
3. She has no experience in any kind of real job apart from working in a school library.
4. A 17 year old can not possibly live alone at that age without having a substantial amount of money from the bank of mum and dad.
She was trying to get back into the RAF I can't remember what she told us all about why she wasn't in it anymore
She is a high class escort

She was an air cadet as a child. She failed the physical twice to get into the RAF and dropped out of her A Levels. Makes me laugh how people keep saying she is highly educated! Escort would make sense 😩

She spent her whole time in the group chat I was in with her telling everyone she was going back in shortly. She wasn't liked she was too self obsessed

Doesn’t surprise me. Nope she never got in - confirmed in the interview in the programme last night. She is such a manipulative person and a compulsive liar. I truly believe she believes in her own lies. Someone on twitter said she also got fired from her job in the library because of her instagram posts. Can’t wait to see what they make of her in the interviews tonight - although I have no doubt she will bluff her way through as she will be so confident in her lies. I bet the people in the group chat that originally came up with the country club idea must be so angry at her!

Trust me they are. She stole it from the lady who started it all. She got kicked out. The group is called Country Girls UK started on whatsapp and then became instagram. So many were absolutely livid

This has been driving me mad all series!! How can she be a librarian at 19!!! Unless she went to uni at 16!! It’s a qualification! I’m guessing she’s a library assistant?

Well I personally thought the interviews seemed tame this year.
I'm not surprised it's Scarlett and Corina in the final two but no one's business plan seemed that good this year and I think they've got lucky. Best of a bad bunch.

I agree! I was expecting Linda to go in really hard, especially Lottie, but as you say she and everyone else were tame.

I actually think it should have been Scarlett and Pamela. I don’t see how an Artisan bakery owned by someone who doesn’t even bake is going to go national - I mean, how many independent artisan bakers are there? Thousands!
Whereas having had a look at Pamela’s brand (albeit there’s not many products), it seems like something that would be popular, it’s already selling in Primark.

I think you just need to find out what your USP is. Doesn’t matter if there are already hundreds of competitors. If you can offer something a bit different, it will be attractive. Just look at how popular Greggs is.

Yeh but Carina seems to think being ‘artisan’ is her USP. As (I think it was Linda?) said, Greggs have sausage rolls as their USP but Carina hasn’t said she has a stand out product that she’s created.

I agree with you. It would be nice if she had a range of unique products perhaps, or a stand out competitor product. I love artisan bakeries though!

Yeh like if she come up with a vegan sausage roll that doesn’t contain palm oil (like Greggs does 😠) to rival theirs, then yeh she’d probably be in with a good chance. But I think artisan bakeries should stay as independent bakeries and not be mainstream, because it’s nice to see what different ones come up with when you go to a new town or city.

Well maybe that could be her USP. Each store being unique to that area or the bakers based there. That’d be nice, and beats the conveyor belt style Greggs...

I wouldn’t mind betting Carina is eyeing the expansion and success of Coughlan’s artisan bakery - they are family run, originally in Croydon but pushing into south London. Not a million miles from Herne Hill. They have an interesting “vegan ninja” USP - making delicious products which just happen to be cruelty-free.

Only just found this thread. Came on to say how disappointed I was by the interviews - I thought they gave them all a pretty easy time.

In particular Lottie!

In general, I only just realised yesterday how young some of the contestants were - two 19 year olds and two 20 year olds. Whilst I know you can get the odd high-flying entrepreneurial spirit with amazing business acumen at a young age - it's incredibly rare - and completely ridiculous for the real purpose of what the show is supposed to be about. At 19/20 someone has barely finished full time education, in most cases not moved out and has very minimal work experience. How can someone like that present themselves with having the skills to run a business worthy of serious investment?

And yet they style themselves as leaders in their fields, high flying achievers. How many significant career achievements have most people made at 19/20?

I do love the Apprentice for the entertainment factor, but I do think it's become increasingly watered down over the years. I preferred it when the tasks had more substance and were a bit more realistic - like when they have to make something and sell to the public, rather than LS setting up contrived 'deals' with big businesses, and they're making big orders of things that in real life they would laugh out of the door.
