Has anyone had any experience with yun express? (Chinese shipping company) they sent me tracking for an item and it hasn't moved in 19 days. It should of arrived by now. I don't even know if I can go through the bank for a refund or when to start that process because neither company will respond to my emails (the one I ordered from or them) and obviously with it apparently being dispatched...

Block up your letter box? :ROFLMAO: There isn't much you can do. I mean you could send them back to the companies in an envelope without a stamp, but thats effort for you and they won't know where it came from.

We get a few leaflets pretty much everyday, I just pick them up and bin them. Takes about 3 seconds.
Am just tired of the amount we get, for what we get in a month is ridiculous an I shouldn't have to waste the space in my bin for all that shit especially when at times my bin is full an if they bring in the charging £50 to empty it like other towns then I'll want to limit how much I need it emptied

I’ve been in a new job for 9 months, I was employed on a full time basis, with a dual role (3 days doing one thing, 2 another). It still hasn’t materialised, so I work 5 days doing what I should be doing for 3. I don’t like what I’m doing. The company is a mess. The senior leaders lack direction. I’m told the two days will start mid-Sept.

I’ve seen two jobs come up I’m interested in. Apply by early Sept.

Do I stick it out or do I apply for other things?

Unless they have a policy that states otherwise then yes it is allowed. It’s a bit of an operational nightmare for them which is probably why they’re dodging answering but yes it is allowed.
Ah great thanks, they’ve been ignoring my emails for weeks but there’s no way I can go back either way

Hey
I see the tiktok thread used to be closed to new people. I now see new people commenting on the latest karina thread..

Is there a way I can comment too as I can't see the option?

seconding antihistamines: i didn’t have these symptoms post covid but i have them with hay fever and antihistamines always help.

reassured to see more people talking about post covid affects tbh, my skin has been horrendous after having it in early july. really sensitive and bruising easily, with paresthesia when i lie down to sleep at night (to the point i thought i had bed bugs). i saw that they just added skin issues to the long covid list but i would really like for it to be over now!
Have you contacted your GP to have your symptoms investigated ? they may be able to offer you something for it .

Anyone know if theres places to store luggage in London? I'll be down mid week, we get there around lunch time an the hotel I believe seems fine at taking the luggage till check in an we get our room, however check out is 11am an that's them done with us which I obviously expect, we won't be getting the train home till around 7pm or 8pm, I don't really want to be going round London with my suitcase for that long plus honestly it's just going get in the way

Its going be kings Cross we leave from so preferably I'd like somwhere close or the station to store it

Just a quick one.
My daughter hurt her wrist yesterday playing netball. It’s not broken. She can still move it. However, she’s clearly done some damage as she can’t use it much. She can’t hold anything in that hand and it you touch it. Even lightly she winces in pain. I don’t want to waste hospital staff’s time especially as my local hospital is struggling at the moment. But I feel like she should be seen, but also as it’s not broken I’m unsure what they will be able to do?
None of my children have ever had an injury like this and I’m not too sure if I’m being over cautious

I have a meaco dehumidifier and reckon it must cost about £1.50 a day at least? I want another for downstairs but worried about the electricity cost. Would getting one and not having it on constantly be worth it?

FRUIT FLIES😡 I’ve got rid of all fruit, veg and any other food they could get to. I’ve tried the vinegar and soap trick but doesn’t seem to be working. Unless I’m not giving it long enough (a few hours). Any other advice? I’ve tried using fly spray too but either the one I have is no good or they’re immune. Is there anything that repels them that’s safe to spray on surfaces and maybe in the bin? I’m at my wits end with these little shits.

I did collect cut rose stems and long twigs from the apple tree and put them in pots along the wall.

Think I will get a small discreet spraying bottle.

Something like this:

Thank you!

Cat either love, hate or tolerate each other. You won't know until you slowly introduce them. it might take a long time or might be ok right away.

I've said specifically what i'm doing and he has sort of invited himself along! I don't want to be too blunt with my response, the people pleaser part of me wants to say maybe another time but truthfully i'm not a fan of this person.
hmmm tricky one. What are you doing if you don’t mind me asking?Does it have a specific time?

Oh gosh! I didn’t know you could still move it if it was broken.

I’m going to look now and see if we have a walk in close by. Although, a local town about two or three buses away does have a minor injuries unit

The last two days I seem to have developed a really strong sense of smell, smells that don’t usually bother me have really been making me feel sick. My last period was only last week so can’t be pregnant, does anyone know what’s wrong? 🙁
Have you have covid? I had it in August and lost my sense of smell for a few months. But when it came back fully it was as if I could smell things I’ve never smelt before. I can smell things from the next room that others can’t and some foods smell awful now.

I’d also do a pregnancy test just to rule that out too.

Hello! 👋 😊

Please may I get some advice on something really bloody boring?

I ordered some linen and cotton blend curtains and they have arrived friggin' creased! I cannot be bothered to send them back and will just buy a steamer as will use it for my other curtains to freshen them up. Can anyone recommend a good steamer to get the creases out? I have searched and searched but a lot of the reviews seem quite rubbish so now I am stuck as to which will be best to buy.

Any help will be very much appreciated 😁

I had one years ago, but can’t remember it! However nhsdirect or whatever it’s called these days has a page about it that may help
