Listening to ‘I Look In Peoples Windows’ and I kind of like it from a theme of looking at people with normal lives, like ‘they have their friends over to drink nice wine’ and ‘I attend Christmas parties from outside’ ‘I’m addicted to the if only’, like her looking at normal lives and imagining if she had not become a star and had married some normal guy and lead an average life?

Or if she had left the big crazy fame life to live a more low key one (maybe with Joe?)

It’s grown on me a lot as a song.

Guyssssss I want to talk about the salute. I am of the firm belief that TSMWEL is about Joe, so maybe I’m delulu. But do we think there’s a possibility that the salute is another fuck you to the fans ?? Like ‘look, I can do a salute and march on stage and you’re not going to call me a Nazi, are you? Are you??’. The more I look at it, the more it feels like that to me. If it’s not that… I maintain the point that it’s totally hypocritical for fans to wet themselves over her salute and stop reading it as a racist act (it’s not a racist act, but it sure was when MH did it).

Taylor purposefully mixes muses when she is writing songs. I suspect she cannot make it blaringly obvious due to legal and maybe moral reasons. I have to laugh when they all insist “this song is about X” because she’s always been known to make it a bit ambiguous. A line in the song might be very very obviously about one person but she definitely incorporates multiple references. I heard someone say part of that song is a reference to Scott B and Scooter B.

I am going Red - I bought red converse and rhinstoned them all, I bought a red and white spotty dress (that i can wear again) and got a white denim jacket from vinted and i am rhinstoning the back and blinging up. Got a clear back that i am going to add friendship beads too! Oh and i rhinestoned sunglasses that say "Loving him was red" I am also going to pay a massive clear poncho incase it is pissing with rain hahaa!!

Comfort is keys it's going to be a long night and i want to enjoy and not be thinking about what i'm wearing!

Sorry to always be the MH commenter (I promise I love Tay more!) but ‘Scarlett maroon’ is a lyric in Chloe Or Sam Or Sophia or Marcus so I think safe to assume its about Matty.

Matty doesn’t take drugs. The pills aren’t about him - he’s clean. That’s what cements it for me. And I’m sure he wouldn’t publically praise the album if she was exposing him for buying drugs. It just makes zero sense.

I’m assuming the song is a dig about how he isn’t as sober as he claimed.
Also it depends what the pills even were. Maybe he needed some viagra
