I saw someone make a video saying this song was for the ex who gave them an eating disorder at 19 years old and it’s EXACTLY the same situation for me. I think about the same guy who did the same thing to me, at the same age. He apologised to me a few years later and acknowledged he treated me awfully and the line ‘I’ll forget you but I’ll never forgive’ drills sooo deep into my soul.

I suspect so they both have multiple songs about writing pages in their story/songs. Those songs always sound like they are talking to each other.

There's no one so blind as someone who refuses to see, or however that Bible saying goes, I guess.
There are so many things that even if we don't know much about Joe just 100% do not fit him and are clearly about Matty. And so many things going back to old songs that also didn't fit Joe or what we knew of her relationships that make sense now.
