I agree and absolutely adore it. It's so underrated.
I've seen some gay people say they can relate to it in regards to parents not being accepting of them... "my love should be celebrated but you tolerate it." And in one of Taylor's pride speeches a few years ago, she said about lgbt: "your love should be celebrated not just tolerated."
i cant find another way of understanding that lyric than it being LGBT. 'celebrating' your love, a lot of LGBT people are told "oh im okay with it just dont flaunt it". they're tolerating it.
Yes, the first time I listened to Tolerate It I thought it was about a parent disapproving of a LGBT relationship then I saw others say it. It's good people can interpret her songs in so many ways.
