Steve has 5 children and doesn't work. It doesn't matter that Jasmine is 18, she is still his daughter.

Its not like he is at home cleaning, walking the dogs, cooking and giving Lacey a decent education.

He does nothing apart from drive everyone around. They have even taken their child out of school and she now does an hour of recycled school work everyday if it isn't shop day of course, then sits around playing Minecraft.

100% he is schooling (if you can call it that) from home so he doesn’t have to work and the reason he wanted Chloe was again so he didn’t have to work. It’s so blindingly obvious. Unfortunately he doesn’t have the skills himself to home school. His grammar on comments is terrible, how can he teach English when he doesn’t know the right way to do it himself? It’s why he’s sticking to the same basic stuff for Lacey because he’s lacks the knowledge himself of anything further than the basics.

A shame Steve and Rachel weren’t more enthusiastic about Liam moving up sets at school. I think he is capable of going very far in life if he is encouraged more.

It's not a huge gap really. I shared with my 6 years older sister until I left home with nothing more than the very occasional squabble lol I do think they need to be stricter though. Winding down before bed. No devices or TV for a while beforehand. Read instead if they want. Chloe needs to be told to keep the room tidy. I can hardly believe the amount of bin bags they fill when giving their rooms a clear out! No sweet drinks or food in their bedrooms. Leave them water incase they're thirsty. Chloe especially is often seen asleep with her tablet by her head when Steve goes in to wake her in the morning. You think they'd check on her and take it off her before going to their own beds! She's obviously being left to do as she pleases. She could be on it in the middle of the night for all they know.
I've had 4 children, with a 12 year gap between my eldest and youngest ones, 2 of whom are autistic, in a 2 bedroom house for 5 years, and they managed to share and get sleep and not kill each other in the process. I'm not strict by any means but you've got to start as you mean to go on. Children need some boundaries and I don't think Steve and Rachael's have enough tbh.

Says I, on my phone at 3.30am 😄 I've a stinking cold and can't sleep, plus I'm an adult lol

Back to school week!

I see nothing has changed. Chloe's hair is yet again being damaged by hair straightening, the kids are on devices before school and at the dinner table and the junk food packed lunches are back.

I honestly don't think they realise how Mild Lacey's form of Autism is. There are people who cant feed themselves, get dressed or go to the toilet independently, they are not even verbal. Lacey has High functioning Autism. Yes, she needs support but that doesn't mean she should be treated like a 5 year old.

At school she was doing the same work as Liam but needed a 1-1 support. How come she has regressed so much? She should be in a specialist school and she should be in counselling or therapy for her Anxiety. They are doing nothing to help her mental health.

What was the P.E lesson in the hot tub all about? All of the other children as well as Rachel are getting exercise everyday through work and school. Steve and Lacey are getting none at all, that really isn't good in terms of health.

Honestly I thought you were all being a bit cynical at first when you were saying you thought they were homeschooling Lacey so Steve doesn’t have to go out to work but surely they’re not that deluded enough to think the endless months of times table worksheets at home is better than the education she would’ve received at the special school. I know the old school were allegedly awful at dealing with Lacey but they didn’t even try a different mainstream primary school for her, let alone a school that’s specially catered to children with additional needs. It has to be an excuse to keep Steve at home at this point.

There really are zero excuses for Milo to be that weight. Even if Scruff is a nightmare to walk (hardly a reason, its probably the product of no socialisation or anywhere proper to run about), it doesn't mean they can't leave him home alone for 45 mins while they walk Milo. Can be part of Lacey's homeschooling too where she learns about other dog breeds they see on walks or learning about the changes in weather and how that affects the environment. I'm sure any suggestion would fall on deaf ears because if leaving her with a worksheet was adequate at school, its fine for at home

He plays up and down Lacey's autism to suit him. It’s so severe in his eyes that she has to be home schooled and Steve is classed as her carer, meaning he doesn’t have to work but obviously not severe another day so they can shop all day and she’s left helping babysit a younger sibling. I never ever see him working again. In 5 years when Lacey doesn’t have to be schooled, I have no doubt he’ll do the same with Chloe and take her out of school.
He has set Lacey up for a lifetime of being dependent on him. So he can ride it out till he is retired . Nothing I see about his home education will set her up to be independent and hold down a job when she is older .

Taking care of yourself and your mental health is one of the most important things you can do. However we all know that they don't put any effort into helping themselves.

Lacey is a child, she would be entitled to free mental health services as well as receiving all the care she needed in a specialist school. Things like that will be a lot harder for her to access once she becomes an adult. They should be getting her the help she needs now because I'm not sure she would actually reach out for it on her own once she gets older.

Your only a child once and the window of opportunity to spend time together and make memories is very small. They have a 6 year old little girl in that house who is missing out on things just because Steve says that none of the other children are interested.

I don't actually believe that. I think the children might say that because they know that he doesn't actually want to celebrate things. When he said that he had only brought one pumpkin Liam asked Why? That tells me that he actually wanted to do a pumpkin. If Liam didn't want to celebrate Halloween he wouldn't have gone Trick or Treating with Chloe. If the children didn't want to celebrate Bonfire night, they wouldn't have watched the fireworks out the window.

If they told the kids they were taking Chloe to a big firework display and treating her to a hot dog would all of the other kids refuse to go? I doubt it!

The way that Henry Andrews comments on every post Sophie or Lacey make is downright creepy

So Chloe wakes up at midnight goes in and wakes up Steve for some milk. Steve said Lacey ended up taking her down for a drink. Why is he lying in bed letting an 11 year old take Chloe down for milk at midnight. He really doesn’t want to parent at all does he.

Everyone who tests positive for Covid is going to worry and panic, its normal and natural.

Steve is no different to anyone else.

Most people who suffer from things like anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions still get up everyday and go to work in order to support their families. Although I don't actually think things are that bad for him because he is able to openly vlog in public.

I can understand why Lacey is the way she is when Steve is constantly talking about how worried he is in front of his children.

I think its disgraceful that Lacey has anxiety and paranoia and is having no outside support from therapists and councillors. Do they not want to help her? Its like they have just accepted it.

Most parents want their children to meet their full potential and to succeed and be happy but not this family.

Does anyone else think it’s ironic that Chloe won the award for best healthy food art, I think the aim was to promote healthy eating!!

I can’t believe the rubbish that goes into the lunch boxes, then when they get home it’s all junk again, no fresh veggies or fruit! Boggles my mind!

They really are despicable parents!

No effort went into making their little girls birthday special at all. Even Liam and Lacey were in a mood and hiding upstairs, they couldn't get on for one day of the year. I also noticed that only Steve sang Happy Birthday to her!

Chloe didn't actually look happy to me at all, she looked disappointed. If Valerie was in that much pain with her back why didn't Steve take Chloe around there to collect her card and at least see her and give her a cuddle? They could have invited a friend around for tea, gone to a soft play, gone swimming, gone to the cinema, gone bowling, gone out for dinner, gone to the Zoo; they could of done anything but they chose to do nothing!

When Chloe's teacher did the register this morning she would have asked all the children what they did for Halloween, Bonfire night and she would have mentioned her birthday as well as asking what else they did in there two weeks off. Chloe probably sat there to embarrassed to tell them that she did nothing and was probably wondering why all her friends had done fun things and she hadn't.

It's also very obvious that he has done something with the comments on his videos because there are only two comments on the Birthday vlog, he is probably checking them before they are being posted.

he has been saying the summer holidays are over from the day they finished up. Honestly why can’t he just let them live life without a constant countdown. Live in the moment go to the park. Take Chloe to soft play. Let her run off some steam. She is the only little girl I’ve seen who doesn’t go to soft play . We are forever there sadly . It’s not even a money thing for them they waste so much money on crap and junk food.

Ask Steve’s saying stuff like him wanting the government to have sticked to the same rules before, such as the whole family self isolating, which makes you think Steve just wants everyone to stay at home and do absolutely nothing.

Most families wouldn’t want to stay at home and do nothing, they would probably get really bored and want to go out and spend time with family and friends, but for Steve i just don’t know what he’s going on about.

It’s just laziness, as always. He just puts a worksheet in front of her and leaves her to it. Doesn’t go over it or anything. At school, they usually do work beforehand that would be covered on a worksheet. People home educate in all different ways, but this is seriously lazy. PE is sitting in a hot tub, art is drawing a picture, life skills is tidying your room?! All the other kids are at school all day, do homework and still tidy their room. Lacey could easily be given some more work to do after the others are home and are doing homework. I wonder how long he’s going to keep her at this level??

Is this person ok? Steve and Rachel are better than professionally trained teachers you know. I wonder if schools realise they need to use their methods. Set their classes times tables everyday for months, sunbathe in the garden and miss a day in the week to go shopping.
