I loved them as a young teen, and liking what I’ve heard of their new album so far!

I have just watched the tour after the reunion series, I think they did seem to get on better as time went on. I then watched the tears on te dancefloor and I do think now the bitterness has faded nicely. Claire seems alot happier to be there and the music tears on the dancefloor and the new album are both great. They nailed that sound they were searching for back at the reunion in 2012. I like them now but do find them to be ankt prickly round the edges.
I really dislike Reece Claire's husband, he kept like hanging their son around her neck at the after party which would annoy me! And guilt tripping her at one of the arenas.

What song did she fuck up? In Aberdeen she did the talking after they had just sung Something in Your Eyes and introduced their next song which she wrongly called Something in Your EyesI went to see them tonight and they were fantastic. They put on a great show. Lisa forgot her words at one point and tried to play it off like she wanted the crowd to sing it for her which was funny.Lee is old enough to be my dad but I was thirsting over him the whole time.
She either deliberately or accidentally stole a line of Faye's in What the Future Holds.

I will agree Lee is very laid back (so much at times he is practically lying down) and he didn't throw any strops in that programme. The only ones being divas were Danny and Dane.
As for him being super nice, he may come across that way, but he isn't that nice underneath it all. Rather than disabling comments, he decided to sit back and allow his wife (who was in the same house as him) and his friend to bully a fan on Instagram for calling them out on something over the course of several days and the friend calling them a gong (change g to an m). Far from nice I would say.

I was also into Steps, I vividly remember thinking Lisa looked constipated when she was attempting (yes even as a teen I knew she was the weakest link there haha) to sing.

Wasn’t Michelle married to one of Lisa’s brothers for a few years? Her three brothers formed the band 3SL.
Lisa’s holiday home in Spain is around the corner from my Mum’s place and pre-COVID, she saw Lisa and her family around from time to time during the summer. I must ask my Mum if she has any tea.

Lisa used to be my favourite lol I really can’t remember why but she definitely did. I watched totally Scott Lee the other week when I had Covid and I’m seriously not understanding younger myself

As weird as this might sound, I just can’t look at Steps the same way. Partly because as a kid I had the mispleasure of meeting the boys who were pretty rude, Faye just ignored us all but Lee and H in particular could not have been less interested if they tried. But also cause i don’t think they get on and they are just pretending they are all BFFs when the real reason they have reunited is probably money and that’s okay. I think as a band they come across very fake now.

Yeah they run a performing arts school in Dubai though by all accounts if you are the same age as their children good luck getting the star roles!

I’m seeing Steps tomorrow at the 02, this will be my 7th time seeing them!
I’m sure the tour name/details changed since when it was first advertised as now is a ‘all the hits’ tour
I’m excited to see them again but wish they were doing some more of their new stuff, also gonna miss Faye!

I’m old so can’t work out how to multiquote but feel the need to defend right now:
1. Steps are currently on a long hiatus and are all doing solo projects - there is no animosity regarding Claire’s solo album any more than there is Faye’s theatre or H’s art.
2. Lee is a super nice and laid back guy (the nicest of all of them by a long way) and so I doubt he was throwing strops about anything. That’s just not him.

I get this vibe aswell. Tbh I never really minded H myself but I don’t like him anymore. As someone else said, too cocky and arrogant.
