Anyone who books these trips with her is asking for trouble. She is already making mistakes and causing confusion 😂

What's she at? I haven't been keeping up
Organising group trips to Bali etc with herself & Tim will be at some of them. Already people are complaining they didn’t get the email and she confused them about what year one trip is happening 😂😂😂 personally I’m hanging on for the carnage.

I’m sorry and I hate posting on this but $2099 for a 7 day tour in Vietnam is absolute robbery. Myself and partner spent 3 months in Vietnam, first month spent an average of €650 each and all accom and trips included in north Vietnam, we didn’t drink everyday but ate out 2/4 times a day. Months we drank more we averaged €1000 ea but that was everything, hotels food and activities. That price is scandalous. Most of these trips cost pennys. It’s disappointing as I followed Steph at the beginning of my travels for savvy advice :/

I'm really sorry for stephs recent personal bereavement but I had to unfollow recently when in a q and a she replied to a follower that she couldn't emphasise "enough"how much she never wanted to live in Cork, when asked... so insulting, rude and condescending!

Totally agree with you here and them prices don’t include flights. Who in their right mind is paying for these! She’s just jumped on another bandwagon following the likes of Janet newmanham or however you spell it and others. These trips are well planned out to absolutely maximise the profits they make off people even down to the restaurants (which are not picked at random deals done behind closed doors)

I came here to say the same thing! I am really sorry for Steph and her recent bereavements but that price is criminal. I spent around 800€ for a month in Vietnam and I wasn’t living frugally! Flights not included either. Fair enough she wants to make a profit but that’s a ridiculous price for 7 days.

I saw another YouTuber do 2 or 3 trips in South East Asia with this company Trova Trip. Seems the influencer / YouTuber etc is just kinda the face of the trip and socialised with everyone but isn't involved in the logistics or planning. Maybe they're involved a LITTLE in the the general plan of where they will go and what they will do etc. but definitely have nothing to do with the logistics or pricing etc. It's the company doing all that work. So I guess Steph gets paid a certain cut and the company takes the rest of the profit. So I don't think there'll be many duck ups seeing as it's a company planning it all and not Steph. But yeah if she tried to do something like that herself she would definitely duck it up. And yeah it is completely overpriced - wonder how much Steph is being paid to do it. Not a bad business idea from Trova Trip - targeting single middle class white women lacking in friends or the confidence to go alone. And using people who already have decent sized followings to sell their trips to - guess the price is jacked up cos they have to pay the influencer.

Generally I don’t mind Steph as I love travel and seeing new places (although with her it’s the usual Bali/Thailand) but something small and it’s probably just me, but the way she talks seems very put on or something?
She’s from Cork and I honestly think she has the least Cork accent I have ever heard of in my life (I totally get that she has lived away for over a decade but your accent wouldn’t change that much) I was just watching her stories a few days ago and it’s like she pronounces some words in an American accent.

I think she’s quite careful
About how she speaks & prounounces her words sometimes as she has a speech impediment. (I apologise if that’s not the term I don’t know how else to describe it!)

Yeah she has a stutter but I'd assume she had speech therapy to help that when she was younger so maybe it affected her pronunciation. Sometimes I think being around other Cork people is what can really bring out the accent in people. She hasn't lived in Cork in well over a decade so probably lost a bit of the twang.

What is with the constant hand movements when she is speaking. Is it something she picked up on some course and she just does it way too much. In today’s story she has her hand at a weird angle because she’s loads of baggage and yet the hand is still going 90.

She has a different accent in her stories today. Would never think she was from Cork.

Steph and Dim are so bloody dry. I don't believe for one second that's her natural accent. She's from Douglas, ffs. I'm surprised she's even promoting travel in Ireland. They are usually far too tight to go anywhere when she goes back home. Painful.

Her only packing advice is packing cubes. And then went off to South America without one hoodie 😹. And then used that as one of the excuses for leaving. Uhm buy a hoodie there?

Was it Mexico where they had a some of their tech stuff stolen too? Like, didn’t they leave something outside the front door and were shocked it was gone the next day.

They appear to have expensive tech stolen on a lot of trips. If it’s not stolen, they lose it. Bizarre.
