If I was thinking about breastfeeding my baby, I wouldnt be put off by Stacey. Surely people aren't that easily put off because they see someone post 90 million pics of them feeding their child?
She has said numerous times and documented her breastfeeding journey with rex and how it ended early because she had so many problems.
I can pick fault in her for many things but I don't think for a second she shows herself feeding just to shame other mums.
If she was bottle feeding in her posts, no one would flinch.
I loved the elf coming down the chimney, I wish I knew how she did that video.
My elf was unceremoniously shoved through the letterbox with a new outfit and he's barely been looked at since!

I fed 5 babies. Some breastfed, some bottle. I didn’t see any difference in my children just my experience keeping them full, settled and happy. One BF was so horrible that I chose not to BF the next child. If I’d had Stacey the super feeder in my life at that time, she would have made me feel inferior.
I had no problem giving my child a breast feed on a bus. If they are hungry, they need feeding.
Like you say, I much preferred making eye contact with my babies rather than a mirror or phone screen, however they were fed.
That’s what pees me off about her Too.
I’m put off because I don’t have all the time in the world to breast feed. Like I said, I have the school runs to do and I’ll probably have to go back to work (wfh at least) when baby is a month old. And no one would flinch if she was bottle feeding, because she wouldn’t be shoving bottle feeding down everyone’s throat like she does breast
Im pregnant and she has hugely put me off. I was sceptical anyway but frankly the whole view that you are changed to a sucking demon 24/7 makes me want to claw my eyes out. She’s doing nothing for promoting BF, quite the opposite. She’s painting a picture that you have to take to your sick bed everyday, who has the time or money for that?
I agree. Especially as someone who said she had so many issues breast feeding with her platform you would think she would share helpful things knowing she had the struggle. I don’t even believe she is breast feeding and over compensates for it by telling everyone she is 24/7

Of course they don't or shouldn't need to hide but Stacey is so OTT with it she's obsessed with showing it. I also understand that she is really happy she is managing to this time and it's her right to enjoy it. However she literally doesn't give two stuffs about her followers who may find it upsetting or even put herself in the same shoes when she was struggling with it with her other children. She was the same when she said she'd had a miscarriage or more than one, can't remember, then she posted her bump ad infinitum. Again she shouldn't have to hide that but the 'relationship' her sheep think is real is totally one sided and for her benefit. They might care about her

I think promoting breastfeeding is great but she’s not promoting it, is she? She’s just jabbering on about it all the time and posting photos. There’s no advice or camaraderie.
I agree she overdoes it. I’m all for supporting breastfeeding but it’s too much and not necessary to show it constantly. And the talk about udders and dairy cows makes me angry, it’s a normal human function not a cow function. We get it, you're breastfeeding! But enough is enough now. That kid is going to be known as "the one stuck to the boob" and I don't think that is fair on the child, especially when she is older. Yes promote breastfeeding by all means but this is o.t.t now and I personally think she needs to stop posting about it constantly. I have absolutely nothing against breastfeeding so don't come for me!! (Just sick of the sight of her and her "udders").
I think the reffering to her boobs as udders was funny once to be a bit light hearted but the way she constantly calls them that is very derogatory and off putting! There is just no need at all
There is no upset from here, and actually she is doing more harm than good, in my opinion. I no longer follow her because her stories were boring the life out of me. However, you can’t escape her. She’s everywhere. On insta explore page, Twitter, probably Facebook but I’m not on there. She is not normalising breastfeeding. She is making it out to be a chore. I’ve never seen anyone else have their boob out so much and talk (moan, but in a lighthearted way) about breastfeeding.
