Well if the guesses as to how far along she is are correct it won’t be too long thankfully! Is the next however many months just going to be Stacey talking about her “so random” cravings?
No not normalNever been close with my sister. Stacey and Jemma seem very close. Any tattlers with sisters tell me if lying with your head tucked into your sisters fanny is normal?
It's Henry hinch..run away from homeWhat in the world is that looking out the window on her pic of Rex?!!
Leaves aren't brown in June? Not defending her but that’s a leaf
Also they aren’t close... they are using one and other. I do not get I love my sister, we’re best pals vibes from these two at all. Is that just me?No not normal
This can defo happen.. my mum had 5 girls and miscarried 4 boys was told she couldn’t carry boy!I think it’s going to be a boy. I’ve read that some woman can’t actually carry girls and that might explain her miscarriages so this one might be a boy coz it’s going ok so far? Sorry if I’m talking rubbish or if I have offended anyone or if anyone has read that that isn’t true or whatever it’s just something I’ve read in the past and heard others say. My cousin has also been told this too!
When we was about 14/15 plucking the tit out of each others eyebrows Not now though as a grown ass women! No not normal
Firstly, thank you for doing the job you’re doing. I know with both my babies, I needed help from my health visitor and rang them crying on both occasions with how my babies were so unsettled (silent reflux and tongue tie). So my experience with health visitors has been great. My issue was myself, I refused to ask for help until I was on the verge of a breakdown both times but you live and learn.I’m a HV. You absolutely have to be trained - either an ex-nurse or midwife. What you are confusing HV with are community nursery nurses who often do a similar role to a HV. My mum was one of those before she retired. They can come from any background but typically early years childcare of some form. My mum was a nursery nurse in a nursery for 25 years & then switched careers. My mum ran baby weigh clinics, one & two year checks & support groups. She also did some safeguarding. As a HV, I do similar but I’m medically trained so I can offer more in-depth support. Ultimately the buck in safety & well-being stops with me.
I hate this idea that HV are useless. They may be to you who is getting along just fine & no real issues & plenty of support. I work 45+ hour weeks to ensure struggling mums, poorly babies, babies in unsafe environments etc are looked after & cared for. I work so bloody hard.
It’s been unbelievably tough during covid, it’s not been our fault.
She’ll have had her bloods done not long ago, plus you have them done again around 24 weeks which I don’t think she’s far off looking at that scan. So they might already know she has low iron.I’m actually getting really concerned for her ice and ice lolly cravings:/ it’s like the Number one sign of an iron deficiency!
EwwwwDid we all

Hi staceHow could you possibly know that she hasn’t quit during/before this pregnancy? That’s pure and utter speculation. Awful that she smoked with Leighton (of which there is proof) but why give out about a hypothetical situation now? Besides an addiction is an addiction and in this day and age people should be more understanding of that. And no, I’ve never smoked a cigarette in my life.
I presume he’s just going in today to settle in. Rather than shipping him off, I know lots of mothers of toddlers are concerned their children have missed out on socialising during the pandemic. She may just want him to be around other children of his age and explore some independence. She could change his nappy and clothes more often but her children are clearly her world and she generally doesn’t like to be away from them at all. She also does work, so why on earth wouldn’t she send him to childcare a few times per week.
Sorry to derail from the thread but what did you do for your little ones silent reflux my little one has it and nothing is working he’s in pain constantlyFirstly, thank you for doing the job you’re doing. The issue I think people have with Health Visitors is that mother’s in general don’t like to be told what to do. They don’t like to be told co-sleeping isn’t safe or how to feed or how to prepare bottles the right way. They don’t like being told what the guidelines say, plus you’re constantly going against advise that was around 15 years ago so the elders of the family also think it’s rubbish too. I think that’s why there seems to bs so much negativity. I hate to think how some mothers would raise their babies if health visitors weren’t around.
Sounds like you’re going above and beyond and I know I’m personally grateful for that.

I agree. Sorry I can’t find the original post now, to quote itOkay fair enough
I’m really glad you’re not a healthcare professional, I think it’s so bad when people do that. If you’ve been told by a mutual friend then it is what it is.
Infacol and Baby Gavascon helped with my little oneSorry to derail from the thread but what did you do for your little ones silent reflux my little one has it and nothing is working he’s in pain constantly
