Agreed yeah but most with SMA will refuse those types of treatments and want to be lifted … seems his family set him up to have all of these conveniences for his carers removed… he spreads the message he is not a burden… it is as discussed dangerous of him and Hannah to downplay caregiver stress and burn out by everyday saying his care is second nature to her. She is a young fit athlete but to an aging parent with long term back pain this would be a huge struggle. There are a lot of flaws with the message that the channel puts out there

Yeah, that's Shane and his cousin, Sarah, who runs his "non-profit," LAMN. I'm pretty sure she was the prototype for Shannon, Anna, and Hannah. Or should I say, Sarah 1.0? Shannon was Sarah 2.0, Anna was Sarah 3.0, and Hannah is the new and improved Sarah Deluxe. Trust me. That photo has to be several years old. Shane looks a lot older now... even though he's only 29. He may be high mileage, but he's still getting a lot of mileage out of this... sham. I'd guess if Sarah Deluxe's quality of caretaking manages to improve before long and she sustains him long enough for her to reach critical mass, there might be a Sarah Ultimate model in Shane's future. Maybe he could use the previous models for replacement parts.

This picture of him and his cousin must have been taken awhile ago but even then he was hiding the true size of his feet by wearing "normal" size shoes. Seems like this charade has been going on a long time. It's his right to wear whatever shoes he wants to but at least be honest about it. Don't preach "self-acceptance" and then do the very opposite.
The shoe thing is funny, because he doesn't walk, so he doesn't even need shoes, but he probably wants to feel normal in a way. Just like how in one video they were talking about apple picking, and he said oh Hannah is telling me she wants to go apple picking, well Shane you can't really do anything, so it would be up to Hannah. It's not like you can drive there and pick apples. But he just wants to be normal so bad..it's sad!
