I almost feel like she is doing it on purpose...no one could be that devoid of awareness surely...

Saying stuff like us mums know how hectic it gets, gosh I need this trip (second ski trip in a month) dashing to London busy BUT manages a 9am class...so getting to london what an hour and twenty...arriving around 11.30...try London during actual business hours She also said she can relax as the boys are all sorted out. We'll OK going to their dads, but one is still having wobbles at school and the other was with the nurse poorly at the start of the week.

I'm not knocking her for having a 'job' but all this fluff and marshmallow bizeee is tone deaf!

I do think she is likely a lovely person, that kind of friend who is supportive but I also reckon she is lost. Doesn't actually know who she is and is chasing something that ultimately isn't making her happy. I mean honestly heart and soul happy.

What she calls a job would be what we call here keeping someone out of trouble. It's something to pass the time.

I really liked her on LOL, she came across well. I thought she would become this posh independent woman raising her kids etc making her own money. I am guessing Sophie never really worked at anything. She was a socialite who probably worked in a gallery or PR girl. No offence to anyone who works in either of these jobs but they are posh girl jobs for the most part.

No she wasn’t! She was fab, good fun, smoked, drank, swore like a trooper and very entertaining to watch and it’s why I started following her but she’s turned herself into a caricature of what she thinks people want. I even bought that cross necklace she used to wear because I loved it on her so much. Sadly it just broke but I got so many compliments on it. She never mentions that jeweller anymore either and yet she was always tagging her. Think they went on a holiday too. I wish I could remember who it was because I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

Ladies of London is well worth a watch, Caroline and Sophie are so different now to then. Caroline has become everything she hated and complained about, although she was still a cold fish back then and very distant to her kids. Sophie’s house was huge!

I think the LoL Sophie is the real one, not the curated insta version. I think they divorced because he just wouldn’t stop partying and drinking and she was just stuck with the kids, basically he just wouldn’t grow up.

although the show did film her at southrop at the parents home .

I remember the episode where she was discussing the new divorce. She said on the show its surprisingly ok...she insinuated that they were grown apart and there was no emotion involved for some time. It seems like (excuse the generalisation) that when the upper crust marry...its for legacy, for socialising, to have kids, the women sont seem to be best friends with the husbands, its very unemotional..

She is so ridiculous I just can't with her fake busy busy. And if only all busy parents could just dump their kids and pop off to France for a weekend skiing.....honestly what planet is she on. Yes parents need a break but the way she smugly says about a quick ski trip like its the norm is so mad.

And the bobbing back and forth with the hair flicking manoeuvre is just weird.

She buys pillows and picks paint for a living.....its not hard and most definitely not busy busy busy. But also smugly saying she can't wait to get back to her home "in the country ".....who is her target audience as the real country set most certainly won't be watching her stories
