See, I've never thought this. Even when they were on honeymoon it was clear they couldn't stand the sight of each other and people who saw them in real life in WDW confirmed they weren't speaking to each other. The whole relationship is one of convenience. The Honey Monster gets a beard and Little Miss Bellend gets a partner who doesn't dare do anything but blow smoke up her arse.

Add the claustrophobic lifestyle, no friends, no outside interests, a child who is nothing more than an inconvenience to them and the house of cards is tumbling down. It was inevitable. But I agree that Soaf will use this as an excuse to get out the begging bowl again. There's literally no limit to how low she'll stoop to swindle the flamily as she has no moral compass.

I might be in the minority here, but I don't agree that it's Lauren's responsibility to include Barney when she does fun things for Wilf. She's taken the time, energy and money to plan something, yet Sophie and Dave can't be bothered to do it for their own son. Coming from a child who was part of the "poorer" family, I never felt it because on holidays at least my parents put in the effort to make it fun/do something.

Sophie and Dave could easily plan something, but instead they're too selfish to plan. If finances are the problem maybe one of them could get a job. It bothers me that Sophie has a degree that would allow her to have a real pay check, but instead she's content lounging on the couch all day.

While I agree with the sentiment of your post I'd far rather Soaf is lounging on a couch all day than being a teacher. Not only is her personality fundamentally not suited to teaching, but she's also as thick as mince. Having said this, obvs there are jobs out there that narc thickos can do but sadly the Bellend is way too lazy. 30 years old and never worked full-time in her whole life. Quite the achievement.

I cant see Dave “lowering” himself to working a job, I won’t believe it until there’s proof haha. They’re just arguing and realising how miserable their “perfect” life is but are too co dependant to ever do anything that would improve their life’s (job, friends, divorce) if they hadn’t dragged poor Banner into their life I’d say just let them get on with it, pretending they have a perfect life whilst being perfectly miserable together, but that wee boy deserves more!

Have a feeling they might use their marriage troubles as an excuse to leave Barney with the grand parents and go up Disney without him, so they can use the time to “reconnect“. (If they even go and if they even make it that long) Mentioning the problems now to set up a new reason for the trip so they feel no guilt leaving him being or as an excuse to only film part of the trip.

Is it just me who thinks dave doesn't have a job? He won't work anywhere the public could see him and he's surely not qualified for an office type job. Unless he's working in a factory or night shifts in a supermarket and doesn't want to admit it because he thinks it's beneath them.
I think they do just live off of universal credit which would cover most of their rent and other bits and then all the ad money is used to buy dave and Sophie treats (not barney's treats obviously).

why is he left UNATTENDED in a jumperoo? He is 15!!!! months old, he could hurt himself so badly if he climbed out!! And plus…. Hes 15 months old?!

her speech about being able to see Barney all day and work when he’s in bed… get a grip Soph. My daughter is 2 and I work FULL TIME!! To provide for her, I would kill to spend a proper day with her during the week and you get that chance and do what? Shove him in a jumperoo and take him to home bargains. You need a serious wake up call.

How are these two living off their 10k views per vlog? Surely they aren’t bringing in loads even with ads and aff links?? I hope it all goes south for them, they don’t have a clue what it’s like to actually work to provide your child!!

Can we add going missing on socials to the constant cycle of S&D? Whenever they do something absurd they go missing as they suddenly realise there will be a backlash. I can feel another we need a talk video coming which are getting more and more common.

I agree something has changed though, if it is Dave getting a job or the relationship on the rocks or the channel going further down the toilet but something is definitely off. With these two who knows what it is or what they will make up to cover things up and make us all think the fairytale is alive and well.

What super irritating is that at Barney's age you can spend zero dollars and create a fun day for him by taking him out and letting him explore a park by God forbid letting him put on some shoes and walk around or toss a ball around. How lazy these two are is disgusting.

They desperately both need some kind of job where they can leave the house and socialise with other people. I think it would help so much with their moods and motivation. It must be such an unfullfilled life staying at home all day with each other doing nothing. I think Sophie spends so much money on dresses as a way to fill a void. They could easily still do youtube as they only upload two 10 min videos a week at the most.
