From what I can tell he’s a ‘fan favourite’ and if they did re home him I think they know that could really turn people against them.
I also think Sofie would be too stubborn/ delusional to admit she might not be capable of taking care of him as he needs, so because of that she might never rehome him because she’s convinced everything is fine.

Totally agree also her whole ‘I’m always learning , please call me in’ thing means she says ridiculously tone deaf things like the classist remarks about northern dialect and then absolves herself of any responsibility by saying that. Like murdering someone and then popping into confession on the way home after burying some bodies #guiltfree .It only grates so much because she goes after everyone else and for normally a lot less.most people offline understand having nuanced conversations with people who think differently to them or the possibility shock horror we all get stuff wrong sometimes. It’s the sanctimonious insta crew that do my nut in who expect a pass on their own bad behaviour but cant see their own hypocracy.
You’ve hit the nail on the head here! It’s not something that gets me that wound up in everyday life, it’s Insta ‘activists’ in general that really get on my nerves because they position themselves as “world changing” and they’re SO quick to call out people publicly/send their followers piling on them but they never take responsibility for themselves/act like they should always be given the benefit of the doubt because they’re “learning” 🙄

In general when they mess up (and with 1000s of followers that could have a big impact) there’s no responsibility taken or acknowledgment of any harm done, there’s just a self absorbed ‘reflection’ where they make an excuse about why they behaved that way, they throw in the phrase ‘I’m acknowledging my privilege and always learning’ and then do absolutely nothing to learn from it and continue as they were 🙄

They can’t position themselves as an activist and not take constructive feedback, so if they can’t handle that, maybe they should consider that the world might not actually need to hear their opinion on every single thing 🤡 (says me, continually ranting, but at least I don’t act like I’m doing anyone a favour and you’re free to disagree without me blasting you on my Insta stories 😅)

I'd love to know. I've grown to really dislike Deborah FW the last few years.
I'd also like to know more details! I always found Deborah and Sofie to be an odd pairing - aside from comedy I can't imagine what they had in common.

I was a mega GF fan - was a patreon member, went to live shows, the works. At some point in lockdown it just became unbearable to listen to - people were dying and losing their livelihoods and all Deborah seemed to talk about was how the pandemic had inconvenienced her newly opened marriage and how badly she wanted to go to the hairdresser.

The last 2 posts have really bugged me. Her/their ones and all the comments. While I don't deny that people with EDs can have massive issues with exercise, and that people can have difficulties...it's not a reason to rant on and on about how terrible it is. It doesn't have to be the gym and marathons. Just move your body! Walk your dog. Make sure your legs are strong enough to get you off the couch in a few years time. Strengthen your bones. Instead of reframing it, it's the easy option of saying diet culture ruins everything so best not do anything at all and just wallow. Never ever takes any responsibility for things. It's all excuses. You can change your mindset and get past things, but you have to want to and have to put the work in. Just moaning isn't therapy (although we all need to be allowed to have a bit of a whine at times!)

So cos I’m new to her...she’s supposedly a comedian? Is she even actually funny? I’ve gotten zero funny vibes from her

From her response to that message you can see that it has clearly struck a nerve - probably because she knows she's in the wrong.

It doesn't matter why people think you don't walk your dog, it just matters that your dog is being walked!

I hope she ends up giving the dog away. He doesn't seem to have much quality of life, just wallowing around her bed all day. 😟
there really need ot be better controls on the ability to adopt/buy pets in my opinion. So many people do so without thinking about the responsibilities, and moving from place to place when the owner gets sick of them is disruptive for the animals

She saw the title of the show and that was enough for a public flounce tbh!

I can see James Middleton posted some stories about her today, and there’s zero chance of her having the willpower to take the high road and NOT posting a 700 word response within a day or so! One foodstuff we can all agree is unhealthy is online beef… and she can’t stay away…
Omg and a sub tweet / caption on the main grid 😳 Posho vs Twitter warrior beef?? can’t wait!

The way she speaks about being fat makes me think it actually makes her desperately unhappy. This latest chain of thought is… wild.

After her stories today I’d also be worried that if Hank isn’t walked or socialised enough he may become aggressive towards other animals like that cat that visits. And I can’t imagine Sofie taking any responsibility for something bad.

I’m guessing she’s paying for it monthly. What a ridiculous thing to get into debt over. Literally any cheap exercise bike is fine. You don’t need the classes etc.

In her last day in the life video, she didn't walk Hank on that day either - and she forgot to feed him on time.

Not only does Hank not get walked, but Sofie doesn't seem to make any effort to offer him other forms of stimulation (eg playing tug-of-war together). He just exists to meet her needs.
Exactly, she should have got a cat if she wanted a pet to just lie on the sofa with

Sofie is embracing influencer life with a box of gifted face creams and whatnot...I have to say I get really annoyed watching people get free stuff when we know she can afford it 😤

Also the 'next time I go for a walk' comment sorta sounds like she doesn't know when that will be....

she eats so much junk on that day in the life, it must make her body feel like shit. 4 chocolate mousses for breakfast, takeaway for lunch, kfc , chocolate, mcdonalds meal.. human bodies are not meant to consume so much fat/sugar in a day, i get its individual choice but she's really setting herself up for health issues regardless of her weight - a skinny person who ate like this would be a concern

I was holding off commenting because I don't necessarily dislike her. I find her MoH painfully serious and earnest (I hate to say woke because I like to think of myself as a nice liberal human but...she's an extreme) but she can be quite funny.

That said OH MY FUCKING GOD, IT'S A FUCKING DOG. I started rolling my eyes at the 'I want to call him Hank but his name in his soul is Xero' point. Then the eye drops, I've had a dog with entropion, they are not going to let you put eye drops in. Get the dog in a headlock and get the drops in. They don't care. They don't understand reason, get in, get it done, get out. Now we're panicking because the dog is hot? And walking around? Christ.

I'm not a very sentimental dog owner. I love my dog but also, very aware that he's a dog, his emotions are simple and a tired dog is a happy dog. It's not that deep, they're not that deep.
