I'm not a dog expert but isn't there a risk that without enough exercise he will become frustrated and possible aggressive?
Yup. Plus he's missing out on socialising with other dogs and being exposed to different people who all look and smell different. By keeping him at home because of his alleged anxiety, she is only making his anxiety worse.
Also, as others have pointed out on this thread, as far as aggression goes, sharpeis are unfortunately statistically not the most docile dogs and they are very strong and powerful dogs (hence NOT recommended for first time dog owners... Along with their many health issues).
yeah she really should have got an older dog that had been trained before by someone else imo
I’m no expert either, but I don’t think it’s unheard of. Dogs who don’t get enough exercise can become really destructive too. My dog can be a bit of a chewer so if I didn’t exercise him properly he’d probably remodel my furniture out of boredom!

He won’t be able to be left. She won’t be able to take him anywhere. As we gradually unlock she will not be able to gig, or do appearances or anything. He will be gone by this time next year. She will tell us that it is a selfless act of doing the best by him, actually it would be selfless to rehome him now, so he can be walked, socialised etc
agree, in her line of work getting a dog was just insane. A cat maybe, you can get people to go and visit/feed them... but a dog cannot be left alone even a day
It was utterly selfish to get him. But the therapists she pays to tell her what she wants to hear said it was ok, so she did it.
I was holding off commenting because I don't necessarily dislike her. I find her MoH painfully serious and earnest (I hate to say woke because I like to think of myself as a nice liberal human but...she's an extreme) but she can be quite funny.
That said OH MY bleeping GOD, IT'S A bleeping DOG. I started rolling my eyes at the 'I want to call him Hank but his name in his soul is Xero' point. Then the eye drops, I've had a dog with entropion, they are not going to let you put eye drops in. Get the dog in a headlock and get the drops in. They don't care. They don't understand reason, get in, get it done, get out. Now we're panicking because the dog is hot? And walking around? Christ.
I'm not a very sentimental dog owner. I love my dog but also, very aware that he's a dog, his emotions are simple and a tired dog is a happy dog. It's not that deep, they're not that deep.

After her stories today I’d also be worried that if Hank isn’t walked or socialised enough he may become aggressive towards other animals like that cat that visits. And I can’t imagine Sofie taking any responsibility for something bad.
Has anyone seen her Twitter drama? Some one responded to a tweet of hers saying ''so not funny'' and she's gone a disproportionate rant at then about trolling, including looking them up on several platforms to make comments about their life and to try and assess their motivations for this slightly rude 3-word tweet. What on Earth??

Would any of your fans even have seen this random tweet had you not plastered it all over IG??? "Here, followers, are all the details of something that happened that upset me! Here is the name of the person who did this to me. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED THAT YOU CONTACTED/GOOGLED THIS PERSON."
