Been lurking for a bit as there was always something I disliked about Simon Harris, I think it was how he 'educated' people by mocking and attacking them aggressively.

The thing that angers me about this the most is that he always acted like he was the average person struggling as much as the rest of us and persuading people to give to his various gofundmes when in reality he was earning 9 times the average wage alone, in a two wage household. I wonder how much of his own money he generously gave to all these causes. I'm guessing he'd say that his time was his donation, and yeah, I don't agree with people working for free, but he chose to do these campaigns, which are very questionable and self serving.

I wonder where the £250k a year he was earning went, because it would be pointless having hundreds of thousands in the bank while wearing ill fitting old tshirts to maintain the illusion of being the common man.

Together for Suffolk's engagement levels seem absolutely in the toilet since what I assume was Henry's tragic death. It looks so pathetic with every article having no shares and either one or zero likes. Money well spent there!
With local councillors pushing for an investigation into the money that was spent on this page, it sure is a bad time for it’s No.1 fan Henry to kick the bucket 😢

How are they ever going to justify £130k when most of the posts are complete airshots?

Actually I know the answer to that. It’ll be, “tHe pAgE hAS aChiEvEd 2637,918,000 iMpRëSSioNs5Ss”

It’s that adorable little puppy I feel sorry for. It’s off to the Suffolk dog pound for that guy. Hope a new family rescues him soon.

Maybe he will go full Lorraine Kelly and claim Simon Harris is a character he plays, for money.

This comment on a video Together For Suffolk have shared, of some swizzy new pothole repairing gizmo the Council is trialling, is a bit ... (unintentionally?) on the nose

If only Henry hadn't died. He'd have shared that pothole video far and wide.

As for the Lorraine Kelly thing (hole who I have tea on) let's not even start to think about Simon Harris's growler.

That stupid pothole machine has done some good numbers by Together For Suffolk standards! 25 reactions and 22 comments 😱😱Impressive stuff. All the comments are terrible, but don’t worry about that. At least Simon’s mum hasn’t stuck the boot in and slated it. Not yet anyway.

Maybe their social media maestro has returned to his tried and tested methods. Post a pile of old bollocks, then when you get a load of negative comments, you go, “Look at the twaction I get on social media. As I said, y’know. That’ll be a hundwed gwand pwlease 💰

I’ve wondered throughout this whole thing whether his wife knew how much he was paid.
They might not have a joint account, and might contribute the same to the bills. He’s not at liberty to tell her how much he earns but I’d love to know if she knew.

I knew this hole’s ego and arrogance would be his downfall and I am here for it.

Aside from the fact that he is just not funny and incredibly snide, he’s really shown his arse over this Horizon debacle. He is the full of ego that he has tried to centre himself in a horrendous scandal and rather than sending his “huge fan base” to legitimate causes and charities that can help people, he insists on these GoFundMe Vanity Projects.

This horizon debacle raises further questions for me. Has the baby formula fund been done in the same way as he tried to do with Horizon? If a charity is linked at the point where the fund is set up then no one but GoFundMe or the charity can access. If not, then…..

He isn’t the first to take the piss with Local Authority contracts but once again, it’s the arrogance of believing you can attention seek to the point of a small local profile but also manage to piss off enough people with your awful behaviour and personality that they will go out of their way to out you. Not that it’s hard, it’s like Super Simon isn’t aware of FOI….

I am quite surprised he went with “removed because of police investigation” and not “trolls are driving me to suicide” which is the cry of people like Jack Monroe (another one) when people ask reasonable question or raise genuine concerns and they get caught out. He need not start that tit thank you very much.

THIS. Absolutely all of this. I’ve never ever bought that “common man” shite. It was very performative and like most of what he tries to sell, I don’t buy.

Despite being a working class socialist (I cringed writing that, felt like Common Man Simon, there is a reason why I’ve mentioned this, honest) I don’t like that thing he does that really thick people who pretend to follow politics and general news do by just slagging off people who earn good money, were born into good families, vote conservative etc. He doesn’t have a valid point on the issues or a person’s personal politics, he just does that panto villain thing of shouting “boo, hiss Tory”, or “rich people are terrible” (despite sitting on a six figure salary in Southend) and sits back like a bleeping seal waiting for the clap from the audience. It may shock him know that not all conservatives are like Suella, and they don’t always agree with policy themselves. If he was making the sort of comments he makes about the working class, he would quite rightly be called out for it. I’ve also done fairly well for myself so by his definition, I’m probably a Tory. He has such a narrow and ignorant view of the world and people, it’s not black and white.

He is the female Jack Monroe and I stand by that. It’s all cosplay.

Can I have the tea on Lorraine please? I’ve said for YEARS there is something I don’t buy or like about her and I can’t put my finger on it.

I can make donation to the owl sanctuary in return for tea babes, just set up a GoFundMe. A very special one because of your very special relationship with GoFundMe.

Nothing huge about Lorraine. Just what I thought was quite an insight into the type of person she is when the cameras aren't rolling. She used to live in my street and I heard from someone that works at the Co-Op down the road that she had been into the shop to instruct on how the staff were to behave when she was shopping. She said that they were at no times allowed to make eye contact with her or look at her unless they were interacting directly. Just seems like a really arrogant and up herself thing to do. I can't imagine any proper celebrities ever doing something like. I don't even really see Lorraine as a celebrity as such, just someone who interviews them on tv!

Re your question here - yes, the baby formula fund was raised to go directly into his bank account.

He was asked by somebody on Twitter about it, and says he has a separate bank account set up for his charitable endeavours so it's not going into his personal bank account (lol like that makes it OK!)

He has very much marked his own homework on where the money has gone, the last update on the GFM page - he's provided a detailed breakdown of how he distributed the money, but at the end of the day it's all words and no receipts. GoFundMe apparently have the receipts. The only possible publicly available receipt will be from Feed UK, who said they will be publishing a financial report on how they distributed the money he gave them. He says he'd given them 35k.

Thank you for this, I missed this. bleeping hell fire, he really is Jack Monroe. We can only hope his day of reckoning is in the post as she has been outed.

I’ve always said - what happens in the dark, comes out in the light. He won’t get away with this game forever

The pothole machine post has now got 657 likes and over 1100 comments. I'm curious as to how it has managed to do so well given that it's in no way more interesting than any of the other drivel on the page that sits there with no likes or comments. It all looks legit but there just seems something a bit weird and suspicious about it?

Yeah you're right. I mean, potholes are guaranteed to drive any community based Facebook post a bit loopy cos ... potholes. But I was just looking at some of the profiles sharing it on and just hovering over a few profiles one after another there are people sharing it whose profiles place them in Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Devon, County Armagh, Swansea and ... Tanzania.

Is he allowed to have it in a personal bank account (which it is whether its separate to his main or not)? What happens to the interest he's accruing? That all sounds very "it was just resting in my account".

The clincher for me was discovering he voted for brexit but now is vile to anyone else that is. Its next level hypocrisy.
