gregg’s back alley is my absolute favourite bit of gossip from this year. I laughed so much at everyone’s comments. It was the best couple of days on this thread.

Agree! I understand some people may not be able to carry a child for medical reasons etc, however most of these celebs just don’t want to ruin their bodies so just pay for someone to have the baby, which I think is wrong imo. Then they have an army of nannies to look after it once it’s born. What’s the point?

I will never understand why Robbie Williams and his wife bought another set of boy and girl babies. They already had two healthy children. If, for whatever reason, they were unable to naturally have more biological children, why pay someone to carry more?

It doesn't make sense to me.

Then again, I'm not super rich and can barely afford childcare for the child I have, let alone a squad of nannies to look after 4 little darlings

I honestly don't get it being a whole "they are racist because they discussed it!" obviously without the context of that meeting it can't be proven either way but surely it's a normal discussion and likely no malice was meant?

My brothers kids are mixed, I would lay down my life for both of them, I adore them and worship the ground they walk on. My sister in law and I are super close and as a 3 we have an amazing bond and the kids added to that and make it even stronger.

However before they were born we (my brother, sister in law and myself) did have a jokey discussion a few times about who they'd take after and the colour of their skin, If they'd be darker skin toned like SIL but bright ginger for a little bit like my brother was as a baby etc.

No offence was meant, no offence was taken, we all participated and even giggled about it. Then their first child was born and they became the center of our families world, followed by the second child. As will any other child who may or may not follow.

Surely it's a thing that all families do and it just happens that the skin colour is included on some occasions? Will it take after daddy and have such and such eye colour ? Will they have mummy's hair colour or eyes. If one is from a different country wl they have aspects of that country? (not necessarily colour)

The other thing to note is the fact that the royals are so inbred, the notion of a child with a bit of brown and American genes would have caused them all sorts of chat (more than a 'normal' family), as it would be a novelty to them. Plus the fact it would have been a case of "how ginger will the kid look' as much as anything else! I don't love the Royals but talking about what a new baby might look like and who they might resemble is normal and such a non- story. I guess that book must be boring AF if that's the most scandalous thing to come out of it.
Plus that author guy needs to sort his eyebrows the fuck out. lol.

I think it's disgusting. There was one celeb (maybe Priyanka Chopra - not sure) who basically said they were too busy to have a baby themselves which absolutely floored me. If you're too busy to have a baby how on earth are you going to be able to spend any time with the child when it's here?

She's TOO busy with her Max Factor adverts and barely there film career?

I would take that with a pinch of salt. I have a friend who works backstage at Strictly and she said he's one of the nicest people they've had in the time she's worked there.

He also didn't storm off... He was upset, alright but he simple ran over to his wife and daughter

Absolutely agree. We are a mixed race family - my husband is Jamaican and I’m white - we had the same conversation when our daughter was due and again (29 years later) when our grandchildren were due. Nothing racist about it at all just natural family excitement and curiosity.

Exactly, she didn't distribute those photos, they were private and for the eyes of her boyfriend only. I'm not sure why there hasn't been a prosecution there.

Totally agree. It’s natures way to stop older women ( as in 50/60+ ) becoming mothers for good reason, as it’s a massive strain on their bodies, the babies may be born with many issues, plus it’s then the matter of actually bringing up the child itself ( or in this case, 2!!!)

Sometimes science, especially medical, needs to just say “no”. Poor kids. How is she going to realistically support them, meet their needs etc when one fall could put her in hospital for week on end? Madness.
