I think that broke him, his Mom passing away, especially as he'd payed for her surgeries. I don't claim to know much about him or his music but that's got to change a person. Very sad.

Only thing I've seen Alex Hassell in is the TV version of The Miniaturist with Anya Taylor Joy a couple of years back. He played her husband.
There was a discussion on casting a few threads back and he and several others were all dismissed by Cooper enthusiasts because they "don't look like a Greek god!". No one seemed to be able to suggest anyone who supposedly actually does.
The Mail article says it was another staff member who said that to the runner on SM not him.

I've only had that happen once, like a sick burp? ..and felt like I was suffocating and my voice went it was absolutely terrifying...my point is I hadn't realised what it actually was until reading your post..
I'm on the last stretch of the menopause I think, started at 42 like my mom did, that was bloody awful at times too.

i think he, almost certainly, had some kind of mental breakdown when she died from which he never recovered - especially as, like you say, he paid for the surgery.
he was always an egotist and had some eccentricities but his truly bizarre/worrying behaviour only really started after she passed away.

Are Mills & Boon still going? My Mum was a huge fan when she was alive. It gladdens my heart to know they’re still around!
When my daughter was about 14 she and her friends were into Mills and Boon books so I bought her half a dozen at a car boot sale. She read them and so did her 12 year old brother who normally only read Shoot magazine.
What I didn’t realise was that there are cones with red covers and a heart which are romance.
And ones with green covers and an apple and are called Temptations and are basically soft porn for middle aged and elderly ladies.

A guy we know is married to a woman 30 years younger. Apparently she wants children (she's mid 30s) and he's not so sure about the idea - I said to OH, "you could start all that over again" to which he snorted "duck that idea!" and stomped off to the barnI have been caught saying a bloke who I thought was in his 60's was fit. He was a John Wayne looking type and was manly but a bit cheeky chappie.
Oh the ignominy when it turned out he was in his 90's Took me ages to live that one down.
