On the other side, you could say he could have stayed with the family in Belfast and not advanced his career.

Are Mills & Boon still going? My Mum was a huge fan when she was alive. It gladdens my heart to know they’re still around!

When my daughter was about 14 she and her friends were into Mills and Boon books so I bought her half a dozen at a car boot sale. She read them and so did her 12 year old brother who normally only read Shoot magazine.
What I didn’t realise was that there are cones with red covers and a heart which are romance.
And ones with green covers and an apple and are called Temptations and are basically soft porn for middle aged and elderly ladies.

There is a column in this weeks Private Eye clearly referring to Dan Wooton, without saying his name, and how he sexually harassed workers when he was on TV and was then protected by the show’s producers. It refers to how one straight young staffer had to be moved to a different show to remove him from the unwanted attentions of DW.

I absolutely hate that vile hypocritical talent vacuum and cannot wait until this comes and bites him in the arse!

I take hope from the fact that the Schofield stuff has taken so long but is now there for all to see.
