Drug use is a tit excuse for assaulting people sexually. Drugs usually remove that self control barrier and reveal what a person is really like. Drugs do not alter the mind beyond what you can't already comprehend.
Rape is a very serious allegation, no one here seems to have any kind of evidence of even know where the allegations came from. So i just did some research turns out Brand was awarded a large amount of money in damages by the courts because the press had publish unfounded and untrue claims about a rape at a part at his flat. The police questioned him and decided there was no substance to it.
I’ve never heard anything about him sexually assaulting anyone - a lot of casual sex, yes. I’m not saying he hasn’t, I just haven’t heard of it.
Drugs alter the parts of the brain that control decision making and empathy, amongst others. Temporarily and often permanently.

I have every empathy for a person in the midst of addiction but when your actions harm others then you should be held accountable. Addiction makes no difference to the victim.

I think RB has sexually embarrassed and harassed women, but I haven't heard any allegations of rape which of course is far worse.

Yeah, because it isn't as if he needs to attract the gay market, or the market of people who like guys with abs. Everyone's there already. There is a visual appeal to divers because they live in Speedos. Their uniform is thirst trap pictures.

I think a large amount of Bowie fans like his Aladdin Sane /ziggy image, not his music and, for some reason, it’s considered cool to be a Bowie fan, I just don’t believe many of them are really music fans.
I quite like Bowie but wouldn’t say I was a fan. And the whole groupie thing seems of it’s time and scene until you imagine a grown man with a girl of school age.
I work the same 12-step programme as Brand but if I was still swanning around thinking I was God’s gift to the world, acting like I knew everything and trying to make money off the back of the programme that saved my life, I’d be on the phone to my sponsor before you could say “guru”.

I am a Bowie fan, i don't worship him though. I think some people just basically think he can do no wrong and his underage sex was put down to "drug use" or his "art" - when in reality he was basically a more humble and controlled sex pest.
I think it was "fine" and viewed as "fine" because it's the great artistic Bowie. He is one notch below Garry Glitter really.
Brand used women disgracefully and is an utter windbag. I have no time for him but to accuse anyone of a crime as horrendous as rape without any evidence is also wrong.At best he has a sleazy charm at worst a persistent an determined sex pest/harrasser.Mind you a lot of wrn would say yes to him but not me he looks too 'used'
