What like Gaynor Goodman, Suzanne Mizzi and Kathy Lloyd?
This will be quite an essay, so I will respond in the morning, if that's okay? 💋
Whenever you have time. Anyone you can think of. I remember reading about Kathy Lloyd and her bad girl behaviour

My son isn’t famous generally but he is very well known in famous friendship groups and in normal times is invited to some amazing public and private parties! I know why - it’s because he is just lovely! 😁
I love how much you love your son ❤

Thank you! I’m very proud of each of my three children, they all have had the courage to take risks and pursue their dreams and if I could have wished anything for them it would have been that that make the most of their ‘wild and precious’ lives and they do! I have a lot to be grateful for in life and my adult children are by far the best of those things!

That’s why I applaud mischievous - she won’t be looking back in 20yrs thinking coulda shoulda woulda by the sound of it - what could be a better life lived than that? And those memories! 👏👏👏👏

I’ve heard from women who met him in his heyday that he had an overwhelming charisma - did you think so?

Same! Although Im old and was in my 20's in the 90's when you could live on your own and have your own house. I sold my little 1 bed flat in London and the equity from that little flat has been the basis of all my homes since. Not sure if 20 somethings these days have the same chance.
Definitely not, I mean I sadly just slid past the 20 something mark but have rented in London since uni and the idea of even getting a mortgage is laughable lol I don’t see it as ever being achievable personally, unless of course you’re the lucky few to either inherit property in London or actually have a well paid job (which in London means doctor or banker lol)

Now, now. You may know him by his thespian name, Rafferty Law?

No, I'm kidding, obviously. But I Googled him and he's in a new take on Oliver Twist with Michael Caine and Lena Headey. So we may be hearing more from him and his nepotism shortly.*

*I should reserve judgement, he may be very talented.

@Mischievous Mystery
It was well known that he used to visit a transvestite in Sydneys red light district.
His brother also runs a Swingers club in New Zealand! Interesting family

No wanting to start anything but Russell’s brother actually lives in Australia.

All these "models" and actors with famous names 😒

I really don't like to be mean about people's looks (only their personalities!) but his parents are gorgeous and he's not in the same category as dad. I do wonder particularly about lads when the dad is a babe and the kid's opposite eg Beckham and Brooklyn (Derek was stunning back in the hey day - pre ugly tattoo, pre filler, pre wig, pre twit).

Ha! Not my story to tell ... but on the subject of closeted gay actors I would say that my son was at a well known drama school - and in his 3 yrs of training there was only one or two straight actors - the others were gay or bi so if you extrapolate that to the wider acting world, the chances of actors being who they say they are must be rare?

There were only ! I’ve annoyed myself now!
Was he ok about the bearding relationship? Like did he feel offended by it or did he think it was fine as it was just what you had to do to get on and it kept him out of the limelight?

I think £200 a month on a motor is a reasonable amount to spend, especially if you need it to commute. I know a couple who spend £3k on car payments a month and have no savings. £36,000, a year’s worth, would go a long way towards a decent place where I live (not London). Don’t own their own place but cut about in Range Rovers and Porsches.
3I a mo th?! Yes agree that's stupid

' My dad lives trainers'?? Yeah literally he has to mention his dad, as that's the most interesting thing about him!

This is hilarious. When I was in the airport a few years ago I noticed a really tall woman and a short man walk past. The short guy was wearing the most HIDEOUS trainers. I said to my husband “wow those trainers are mad”. Turns out it was Jude law and his then girlfriend (now wife). Honestly the trainers were shocking!! Poor rafferty if that’s what his dad has passed on... poor taste!

Indulge me here for a sec, because the news of Alice and Ioan breaking up reminds of the time they first got together. It involved a fan website that he funded for 2 years on the quiet, the creator funded it for the previous 7 years through donations. Fans being fans would comment on some of Alice's fashion choices, nothing brutal. Anyway, Alice took exception to some innocuous comment a fan made on the site. Alice was nominated for some Christian film award, one of those Hallmark films and someone made a casual comment of do they know what previous roles she had done? She took it as someone implying she did soft porn or something , accused them of tampering with her wiki page, wanting moderators stipped of titles, full on paranoia. Of course, Ioan got grief for it and he had to smooth things over and she wanted the commentator removed from the site. It all ended very acrimoniously. She was quite the pill then. Doesn't excuse his behaviour though.

It’s very vague but I do remember rumours when they got together about Alice being a lot of work whereas he was very nice and charming. Put it down to jealousy of her, he is good looking, and then thought they must have worked it out. No one should stay in a marriage if they don’t want to, the main thing they should be concentrating on is their girls.

Back on to frittering money but this time with a celeb slant.

A work colleague of my husband’s wife works in one of those banks that are for high earners, with many premier league footballers as clients.

It has not been unknown for young players on tens of thousands a week to be unable to put deposits down on the house they want to buy because the money gets completely spunked every month. They get zero financial advice, have no clue about the house buying process, tax, savings etc and go nuts on flash cars and party lifestyles. Their careers are short and even the very high earners can have nothing to show for it. Not really tea because she didn’t name names, obv.
