I’ve ordered with Asda, they seemed the cheapest to me and I got a load of needles and grey bag
I ordered from Asda last time but I wasn’t impressed with them. It took 2.5 weeks from ordering to delivery. They asked for more info which I sent, they ignored it for days at a time. I found the service really shoddy which is a shame as they are that little bit cheaper. It’s good to hear it could have been bad luck and you had better service though.

I went with Simple Online Pharmacy instead and got 10 pens. I’m hoping that will be my last purchase but we will see how it goes.

Really weird I am in week 16 and changed my diet slightly to reduce carbs over the last 2 weeks. My appetite has now completely disappeared. I've had 600 kcal today and having to force food in. Not sure how this has suddenly happened after so long!?

If you’re going to try Wegovy (and I probably will too when it is available) you may be better starting with Ozempic rather than Saxenda as it is once weekly too.

3 weeks in and I have not lost any weight this week, although my waist has lost a few cm, and I feel my body isnt as swollen and inflammed. I'm putting that down to a lack of interest in junk food, this has also cut my shopping bill down.

I do feel constipated and sick though on 0.25 so worried how I will feel at 0.5 dose. The website I ordered are going to send something for constipation and nausea as part of the prescription so hopefully that will help.

I've ordered the next injection from mylondonpharmacy for 130 pounds as the price at mybmi is 160 pounds after the initial discount they gave. Also 5 pounds off with code 5OFF which pays for the postage.

Edit to add, I lost 3pounds last week, nothing this week so a total of 7 pounds since I started. I will increase the dose to 0.5 and maybe that will help. I have a long way to go but happy to lost even a pound a week.

I'm down 10lbs after my first 10 days. Now I did take 2 days off the rails completely for a family wedding. I think a lot fo it is water weight but definitely feel better. Not thinking about food 24.7. I'm not watching my diet to much, but eating less of what I want I guess as not as hungry. I definitely do have some hunger though. I'm taking mine at night around 9pm and definitely have more hunger in the evenings so maybe it wears off then and I should take it in the morning but need a clear head for work. No real side affects yet. First couple of days I was tired beyond belief but OK other than that. I'm sure the loss will slow down loads now but going to try keep it up until Xmas anyway and see where I am then if it continues to go well.

I hope it settles for you really soon. Are you making sure you drink enough water and eat enough?
Thank you, I appreciate that, I really hope so too <3

I don't think I've been drinking or eating enough, so I'm working on that today and going forward!
I've also just been dealing with awful awful menstrual cramps and I think that has been 50% of the nausea, and the saxenda the other 50%. Hopefully as that subsides over the next few days I'll be able to deal with the saxenda better again 🤞 PMS mood swings paired with no BMs, little food, and nausea, you're gonna get a not very happy gal haha

Has anyone had heart palpitations 🙃 I’m 5 days in on my first dosage and feel generally shitty with heart palpitations? Not sure if I should just give up with this 😞 then I’m stuck with nearly a full pen and two other full ones.
Today I had an odd feeling come over me in the shop, almost like hypoglycemic so I grabbed a coffee with some milk and it helped it pass

I'm day 2 and zero hunger today! Eaten a banana and some watermelon

Stick with it and maybe stay on this dose so u body can adjust

The 140 is for ozempic is it not? Saxenda us 249 for 5 pens, each pen lasts 6 days on fill dose
sorry ozempic is the only one I could give figures on for definitely. However its worth considering too. 2 stone down and not on point with diet. Another stone and I'm at goal. Had years of failed dieting and a lifetime of yoyo. This is a game changer.

5lbs down since restarting wooo! So delighted and lowest weight for the last 3 years 💃🏻 I have a wedding in just over 4 weeks and I’d love to lose another half a stone

Moved up to 2.4 today, hopefully won’t feel too sick this week 🤞🤞🤞

Can someone advise me what your bmi needs to be? If it quite hard to receive from your doctor?
I've got a bmi of 39 but the idea of going to the doctor terrifies me 😂
It’s just been approved by the NHS but I think GPs will make you jump through hoops before subscribing it, best to go private. My BMI was 32.

Thank you for posting this as I have an appointment with my GP next week and wanted to discuss Saxenda with her but had a feeling GP’s wouldn’t be able to prescribe it.

I’ve been on and off Orlistat for a while now (prescribed by GP but have also bought it myself in the past) but I just don’t think it’s for me. Side effects can be embarrassing and I haven’t lost much on it at all. The last few weeks I’ve struggled to get my head into it and always read this thread as I genuinely think Saxenda could work for me and I love reading all of your success stories, you’ve all done so well! I’ve literally been dieting for 20 years and diet and my weight rule my life and it’s overwhelming at times. I know I could purchase Saxenda myself but financially it’s not an option for me at the moment. My GP has mentioned referring me to a weight management clinic but I’m not too sure what this entails. If it’s just a nurse weighing me every month and giving me a diet plan then it definitely won’t be useful 😂

Good luck to everyone on their Saxenda journey, you are all doing fab!

I had an appointment with GP today asking about having Saxenda prescribed. He was really open to the discussion and agreed I met the criteria. He wasn't sure how the process worked locally and we left it that he was going to contact the pharmacists in the surgery and come back to me.

Then a further phone call this afternoon updating me and essentially even though it should be available, the local health board are "formulating a plan" for how that will look so aren't allowing it to be prescribed via GP's. All prescriptions that have been filled locally have all been private not NHS. Disappointing but not unsurprising.

GP was frustrated by their response as he can't see a reason why medically it should be refused. So he's referred me to the bariatric service at the local hospital who apparently have a really good set up and it's not all about surgery so will see how I get on with that (however long it takes for the appointment!).

I relate to this so much . Anti depressants mess with your gut health and appetite I think , well they did me anyway . I was never so fixated and insatiable appetite before I was on them . Saxenda will help you so much . It has with me ❤
Sorry to derail..

Just wondering have you found anything to help with your gut health.? The alflorex are meant to be good but too expensive for me at the min .

Apologies for derailing 💛

Hey I’m not on Saxenda but I lurk on this thread as I’m fascinated by it and if it weren’t for a fear of having to inject myself I would take it 😂
I have pcos - the insulin resistant type, do you take anything for it? I’m not sure what type of doctor you’ve seen but I’d recommend getting referred to an Endocrine specialist as PCOS is a hormonal
imbalance and they’re going to be best placed for help - I see one every 4/6 months. I take metformin which has really helped me with my pcos symptoms and also my weight and it definitely makes me less hungry. Xx
Fun fact - I’m terrified of needles. But injecting myself with saxenda isn’t so bad. The needle is really tiny

Another pound down which takes me to 18lbs so far, really happy with that as I haven’t been shy with nights/meals out recently but want to knuckle down

Still on 1.8 and moving to 2.4 friday

Simple online pharmacy is reasonable
Thank you for this recommendation. They’ve been by far my easiest purchase of Saxenda. No additional questions or info needed, approved and dispatched by 10am after ordering yesterday evening. Polar opposite of both Boots and Asda pharmacies!

If anyone needs some Monday morning inspiration to keep going or take the leap and start. These work trousers used to dig in to me in July when I started, and I’d actually started wearing jeans for comfort instead.

The bigger pic is how far they fall if I don’t hold them 😂 glad I had leggings underneath!

Oh my god that is amazing. Well done. I'm sure you are delighted.

Took my first injection this morning. Must say I didn't feel a feel.
Starting weight 14st 4lb. Here's hoping to a 4 - 5st weight loss xx

I’ve seen on the fb group people say that the feeling full side effect is a temporary ‘bonus’ side effect and that it will pass but if that’s the case then ultimately how does the drug work for weight loss? I assumed it was the fact it makes you less hungry so you don’t eat as much?
It adjusts your leptin resistance and metabolism, it’s why it’s good to try and get to full dose if you can to get the most from it 😊

Another 2lb loss which takes me to just over 2 stone down in 9 weeks now. Even though I’ve only had 2lb loss this week I think I’ve had bigger non-scale losses. My fat bits feel a lot tighter and less jiggly now and I sometimes struggle to get a bit of fat to pinch to inject. I still have plenty of the stuff 🤣 it just feels a lot less loose and wobbly if that makes sense?

Still struggling at 2.4. I don’t think I’ll be going to 3 any time soon 🤮 reluctant to go back to ‘1.8 + X’ clicks like I’d planned though because I always lose count or forget how many clicks I’ve done the day before.
