"A Fortnight ago, I broke my own rule and got a french manicure. The last time I wore pastel nails with white tips, Donald Trump was on wife one and Oasis was still just a shop."
Truly starting grim. I do not want to measure time via Trump wives.
That Oasis thing is a bit tone deaf isn't it? Haven't they shut the shops now?

Once again, all Sali has done with her petulant, defensive outbursts is send people to Tattle and set this thread on 🔥

I keep getting asked to do interviews and panels. I’d honestly rather die than put myself through it.
As an older person here, I would say that I regret not having 'put myself through it' earlier in my career. I did eventually get fed up with less talented, less hard working colleagues getting the credit for my work because I didn't accept the opportunities I was offered to be in the spotlight.

I still do get anxious, and performing in public is never going to be what I'm best at but with practice I've found that I can do it. In the Anya Hindmarch book that was mentioned here recently, there's a chapter on how she eventually managed to become reasonably comfortable speaking to an audience.

I have met Lisa and she was so generous and gracious and incredibly beautiful in person. I have had a few twitter convos with her in the past as well. She seems very humble and sweet. Her husband was equally lovely and gracious. I can't imagine anyone not liking her!
I think it’s as simple as Lisa lives the life Sali thinks she deserves

OT Has anyone sees Miu Miu's collaboration with Levi's? They've "upcycled" regular old items with embroidery and marked them up by an eye-watering amount, eg a trucker jacket is $5800, pair of 501s $4300. There's some poverty-porn spiel about celebrating working-class America, and I find it all offensive af, especially now

I am going to disagree with the others and say I think you should contact the Guardian. Sali represents the Guardian, insofar as her public behaviour shouldn't be at odds with her employer's stance as bastions of liberalism or whatever the fuck that paper is.
Also, welcome, @clondon. This is a great group of funny, intelligent people and you will enjoy it here.
Just don't call me brassy, or there'll be trouble 😘

(I see Sali is currently fighting with someone over the spelling of a word. Nice, relaxing way to spend a Sunday evening)

Okay so might get blocked from GTL and following on IG. I am the Autistic woman who posted in her group. Most of us state exactly what we see and can't avoid being unfiltered. We literally learn to lie by interacting with neurotypicals who often bullshit. We lack that skill and therefore often say what we think and as an earlier poster mentioned we are often worth listening to as our thoughts are simply honest not rude (while to neurotypicals it comes across as exactly that - rude ) My thoughts after the interaction were there are millions of autistic women and men most of us are blunt, direct etc most of us love social media as it is easier than interacting face to face. Sali didn't know I was autistic but surely everyone not just influencers needs to learn to accept those that are different from themselves. I didn't even mean brassy blonde in a rude way. I actually think it looks nice but from the photo isn't grey. Sali - if you are reading - you can't always get nice comments believe me anyone who is autistic knows this, no environment works like that and if all you want is praise then get off social media - it is a tough environment to hang out in - also educate yourself on neurodiversity it is very common.
Thanks for joining us and welcome. Your reply didn’t read as rude to me (NT), just as an opinion, whereas Sali is frequently rude to others.

That FB rant seems like a step further in delusion and paranoia. She desperately needs some sensible people around her (and professional help). Ruth Alborough is a BACP-accredited therapist/counsellor. I don’t think Sali is being done any favours by the sort of comment Ruth has made in that screenshot. (Although it’s cut off so perhaps sensible advice is given further on.) Being surrounded by sycophants and people who indulge and enjoy her dramas is enabling Sali to escalate wildly and frankly make a fool of herself.
I thought that comment that Admin Ruth made was strange, saying that Sali's thread on the Facebook group had received many rude and insensitive comments. Untrue! I did a quick skim through the comments and they are 97% 'oh wow, you look amazing', 2% 'that doesn't look grey to me, that looks blonde' and one comment which is baldly uncomplimentary. That's it.

When has anybody here ever said she can't stand her kids?
What an utterly bizarre thing to say and for her children to read.
She lies, and people just believe her. Apart from the few curious enough to come here, and see for themselves

At this point, she's so invested in her own bullshit version of events, I think she actually believes it
