Yes you are right. In Pretty Honest Chanel is one of her beauty heroines. She introduces her by saying something along the lines of 'she was an amazing woman, dodgy politics aside'.
I mean. Really. How can you put being a Nazi sympathiser (and allegedly a spy, and also identifying her Jewish workers to be sent to the camps) as 'aside' - it sort of is the defining thing about someone isn't it?
