Apologies, I've misquoted Becky:I'd imagine my claim that "Becky" is one of the two big lies. I stand by it, the account read like pure fiction, particularly the bit where "Becky" turned to her as she was leaving and said "I still don't know what it was all about".
It makes no sense as it's clearly an opinion so can't be a lie.I'd imagine my claim that "Becky" is one of the two big lies. I stand by it
Personally I think the "Becky" meeting is a figment of her imagination. It's just too convenient that Becky said exactly everything that fits into Sali's narrativeIt makes no sense as it's clearly an opinion so can't be a lie.
The much quoted by Sali "she'd sell her own children" is also someone's opinion and obviously figurative language that she hasn't quite got her head around. No one said Sali has put her children for sale on ebay.

No idea whether or not Becky is real, but the account did read like a very badly-written, amateurish film scene. That line in particular, as well as the description of Becky as "affluent-looking" (ugh), and describing the weather on the morning they met a grand total of *three* times in a few paragraphs. Hammering home that screenwriting trope a bit too hard there (especially for a film specialist)Apologies, I've misquoted Becky:
"It was a way of me trying to solve my own problems," reflected Becky. "It's actually nothing to do with you."
Before leaving, she shrugged and added: "It doesn't make sense to me either".
I honestly think at some level she's getting validation from this. It makes her feel important. She's lucky she doesn't have real trolling such as the death and r@pe threats other women have received. So I’ve just read her piece on the BBC News app. I really don’t like the suggestion that she (and others) thinks we are sad, nasty individuals with no value in our life. What a superiority complex to have - and that’s why people talk about her. The same way you would if your boss or friend acted this way.
It's getting her lots of sympathy, likes, attention and "Poor Sali, she's so brave standing up to those horrible jealous trolls"I honestly think at some level she's getting validation from this. it’s been quite a successful PR stunt for her so far in terms of likes and clicks, has possibly boosted her IG followers too, more ££.It's getting her lots of sympathy, likes, attention and "Poor Sali, she's so brave standing up to those horrible jealous trolls"
