I appreciate that there may be more specialist terms used by those who work in/study this area, but for the purposes of general discussion on this board, I think paedophile suffices?

I agree that paedophile can be a catch-all for hebephile and other 'specialist' terms, but it's not common parlance for an adult who engages in sexual interaction with anyone under the age of consent - that's a child abuser.

It's unhinged, tweeting about her horses escaping yesterday (relatable) then arguing with people about JK Rowling until midnight last night - the day before the hearing? Can't get my head around it at all.

Sentenced on August 7th. Got to be custodial hasn't it?

I've no idea what the precedent is for similar offences, but could the fact that it's only one video - ie. not representative of a pattern, as far as we know - mitigate things?

I know people say twitter is a cess pit blah blah but the restraint that has been shown to her around this is amazing. I'm not sure if that is good or bad really. She has been brazening it out - wonder if that will change now the sordid details are emerging.
