I think this would get more attention on a quiet news day but with Johnny Depp in court today vs. The Sun and the news about Tom from Kasabian's DV charges it's not even trending. It's on the front page of the Guardian & BBC News but probably not for long - will be interesting to see whether it makes any front pages tomorrow, and whether it makes it into the Times at all... *adjusts tin foil hat*

I wonder how Sali Hughes feels about Eric Joyce’s conviction for child sex offences? Given her apparent lack of concern over threats to send him to her critics’ homes, private addresses which Sali claimed to hold.
It’s just disgraceful and sick. I can’t begin to put into words what I think and the bullshit behind her behaviour and actions ... it’s unreal.
Why don’t her friends say ‘Just shut up India’!!! .... She hasn’t actually done anything illegal but the whole thing is so questionable and sordid. I can’t get my head around it.

Well she’s continued working with India - albeit India isn’t the one who has been charged and pleaded guilty. Maybe this shows what a loyal friend Sali is?

Eric Joyce, duck off duck off duck off. I am so fed up of men blaming abuse and violence on their addiction or on alcohol or on mental illness. He's portrayed himself as a victim. 'Oh I was drinking heavily but I'm rich enough to seek expensive therapy for all my troubles. This email just landed in my inbox and I was so helpless I couldn't stop myself watching it'.
I grew up with alcoholics in my family. They were flawed, but good people. I've also drunk heavily, but never ended up with abuse videos on my laptop. It's not an excuse and it takes all focus away from the true victims. This is vile. I am so angry.

Yep, this and the Kasabian thing have infuriated me today. The likelihood that EJ won't serve time and Tom Meighan got community service and made a point of reassuring people he was "doing well" after parting ways with his band yesterday, knowing he was to be sentenced on DV charges today. Vile doesn't begin to cover it. (Sorry to go even more OT)

And and and... Totally agree with what everyone is saying and want to add I hate with all the fires of the sun the term "child porn". Like they are tiny little porn stars paid for and complicit, consenting. It's images of the rape and abuse of children. (This is aimed at the horrible DM article, not people here).

Lest we forget. The screenshot of India asking Sali if she knows where we live - for E. And Sali saying yes. So at this time India knew the charges against Eric, and that he probably was drinking heavily, and had been found guilty of assault previously.
And try reading this without feeling sick and angry.
And India offering to call the police for Sali.
They are well known , well off and think they are above us yet look at the company they keep.
I think us Tattlers are doing ok in criticising the way they operate.
