Yeah, I worry about her having a normal job, if she ever gets one. I can't see it either. I feel like she'll probably end up doing a master's, PhD and then wanting to write.
Obviously we don't know what happens at home but I'm honestly amazed her parents allow her to spend her time studying.
As soon as I turned 16, my parents were keen for me to get a little job so I could earn a bit of money and develop skills including social ones.
I just find it out that she's cooped up in her room for hours and her parents are okay with that.
If that was my daughter, I would be telling her to go do some part time work or go out and be more sociable.
It's good to be studious but I do worry she doesn't have any other hobbies.
I'm glad she didn't get into Oxford as I think it would have gotten worse However, it's more after university that I worry for her.
