I’d love to see what my boss would say if I buggered off abroad every time the writer’s block kicked in.
And that walk is probably just as effective as going to Venice for a weekend. Venice is beautiful, but it won't cure your writer's block. What Ruby's doing is just expensive procrastination.
I know it’s probably been said loads on here, but their house really bugs me. They have this massive house and more money than I’ll probably ever see in my life, but the rooms are just bland and filled with junk. Ruby’s room seems the nicest and that’s saying something

Yes, this! They have no sense of style, whatsoever. I don't understand the point of renting out part of a manor when you keep it like crap and not even furnish it nicely, not even average decorating, let alone something with English country vibes. There are a million magazines and books that can inspire you to do it, even those on a strict budget. But they don't do a thing and it is dull as tombs in their home. The kitchen is always messy, Ruby's room is too small and cluttered. Even she is constantly moving around the furniture and has long since grown out of her nursery style room. Imagine this room with an oriental rug, some floral prints and nice wall art, some green plants and flowers in a ceramic vase, some unique lighting, books in bookcases, pretty candlestick holders on the mantle and a carriage clock. A collection of small ceramic boxes lined up along the mantle and some pretty fireplace tools. I mean, you can do so much with this space. She's going to really just throw herself into her job...just as long as that doesn't require showing up for more than 3 hours a day, 3 days a week (or at all, considering she likely quit months ago) and doesn't interfere with all the time off she needs to take to go on a new holiday every month.
Ruby claiming she's going to finally devote some effort to her part-time nepo job mere weeks before she's due to finish is giving the same energy as that time in her final year of uni when she announced she was going to immerse herself in university culture...and then stayed in her bedroom at home for the remainder of the year.
Ruby, you haven't been bothered to put any amount of effort into your content or attempt to improve in any way in the 7+ years you've been doing YouTube. Let's not pretend that anyone's going to believe you're magically going to start now.
She apparently has no idea what purchases she'd need to make in order to improve her video quality, even though this would be almost self-explanatory, especially for someone who makes their living at this and who keeps saying she's DEEPLY PASSIONATE ABOUT REESAAARCHING AVVERYTHING.
This lazy-ass, rehashed mess of a video certainly isn't the start of a new chapter in her content-creating career.
It's yet another video we've seen before, full of the same lies which are intended to make her seem astonishingly productive and indescribably well-organised, when in reality she just makes up a bunch of tit that makes her look like a disorganised, time-wasting moron.
She plugs PONKER PODDTIBBITY even though she's proven that she never uses this planner outside of ad posts and videos.
She plugs Notion yet again, conveniently neglecting to mention the times they've sponsored her before.
She proudly announces that she uses four different planning systems that all serve the same purpose. She doesn't see the stupidity in wasting time and energy doing the same thing in 4 different places when three of them are redundant and you have nothing going on in your life so you didn't need to plan anything to begin with.
She predictably tries to legitimise her astonishing stupidity and timewasting busywork by parroting misremembered quotes by historical figures.
"CHEESING SOMETHING IS MOCH HARDER WHAN WEE'VE GYOT LYOADS AND LYOADS OF CHOICE."
"Oiy AWHLWHEYS visualoize WARLD PEACE. Oiy'm josst SYOO VARRY KOIND AND THWORTFOL. JANUINELY!"
The only reason that Ruby visualising world peace isn't the most preposterously fictional bull entry on this list is because she also claimed she tidies her room.

not looking at the camera feels sooooooooooooooooooooo weird, she always does that plus ending the sentences trying to have a soft voice... ughh as a non native speaker it's so difficult to understand her when she talks like this... not bc of the language but bc it's difficult to understand the words she pronounces lol
These recycled video ideas really make her seem like a child that once was praised for drawing a house or whatever and is not making a mass-production out of it to harvest more praise.

I’ve hit a brick wall with Ruby’s videos and I just can’t bring myself to sit through them right now, but please tell me that this is a parody and that Ruby isn’t actually putting ‘find the meaning of life’ and ‘visualise world peace’ on her to-do list. If she is actually doing this then that’s … very special.
Edited to add: and if it is true, can someone let me know when she ticks that one off? I am dying to know what the meaning of life according to Ruby is.
This To-Do list is one I'll make when I'm doing a life sentence in jail and have nothing else to do lol.

I think this is her attempt at being funny. I mean it’s a fail, but I’m sure we can all agree that her feeble brain isn’t actually capable of this sort of thing.
In the spirit of her newfound commitment to improving the technical quality of her videos, Ruby's uploaded a TikTok video where she lazily ducked up the audio levels for the millionth time and the music completely drowns out the narration.
Rather than, y'know, check the video before she uploads it, paying any attention to what she's doing or taking the video down to correct it and reupload it, she's just going to not bother with any of that, leave it up and call it a day.
