That not a pizza. That’s the driest-looking bread roll on the planet being assaulted by some mushrooms. What does everyone think of the pizza? I don't think that the plate is that massive but now wondering about the size of Ruby's plates

Edward and Charles were the last ones from the royal family who were admitted to Cambridge with A-level grades that didn't meet the requirements. Eugenie and Beatrice went to Newcastle and Goldsmiths and William went to St Andrews, etc.I just found out that Prince Edward got into Jesus College at Cambridge despite getting CDD at A-Level, so it's not just Oxford's Jesus College that is disgracing itself!
Eugenie missed her Newcastle offer at first but then they contacted her to offer her a place on a slightly different course, then admitted it was because of her statusEdward and Charles were the last ones from the royal family who were admitted to Cambridge with A-level grades that didn't meet the requirements. Yeah, Newcastle is a good uni but its demographics and culture are definitely different from typical unis attended by royals like Cambridge, Edinburgh, St Andrews, Exeter, etc. Good for her in going though and meeting a wider section of people. I'd love to drop Ruby on the Newcastle campus and see how long she lasts.I can't help but think of Geordie Shore when I think of Newcastle-- something a bit unusual for a royal. There are many nicer red brick unis she could have gone to?
Indeed, good for Beatrice to go to a different city where she'd experience a wider share of the population. I don't think Ruby would feel at home there... Royal Holloway is, in my opinion, her best pick for Hogwartsy vibes close to home.Yeah, Newcastle is a good uni but its demographics and culture are definitely different from typical unis attended by royals like Cambridge, Edinburgh, St Andrews, Exeter, etc. Good for her in going though and meeting a wider section of people. I would have loved to have known what Ruby’s other choices at undergrad were. We know she had Oxford and Exeter, but I don’t think she ever shared her choices and I will admit to spending some time musing about the other four (if it’s four, it’s a loooong time since I‘ve looked at a UCAS form). I always thought that she might have picked Royal Holloway for one - it’s part of the University of London, it’s a campus uni in the ‘countryside’ (sort-of) and bits of it are very, very Hogwartsy. It also has a good reputation for English and Drama (although I have no idea what it’s like for Theology). I would also have guessed Durham for the prestige but I can’t see Ruby ever going there as it’s too far from home. Oxford Brookes as an outlier maybe, because you can still say you’re at uni ‘in Oxford’ … Maybe Bristol but it’s too urban for Ruby. Bath? Reading? UEA? It’s hard to think of not-too-urban unis that are within travelling distance of the Mucky Mansion. That and I could never see Ruby going north of Watford for her education …Indeed, good for Beatrice to go to a different city where she'd experience a wider share of the population.
