That TikTok is so painful, it's like watching her play-act as a person who regularly talks to humans her own age and she has a touch of a mean posh "rah where's my baccy" girl persona in it because that's the circle she's seen at school and uni. Like if you're going to turn Frankenstein into a TikTok 'story time' then you have to do more than say at the end 'oh and this guy's name was Doctor Frankenstein' as if nobody would recognise her rambled synopsis of one of the most famous books of all time. About the reel, do Europeans eat pizza with fork and knife? Is it a nice restaurant thing or something?
Some types of pizza you can't eat with your hands. Most Italian pizza has a very thin base and can be quite saucy which means you have to use a knife and fork to keep it together.
Italian here, it depends. It's quite uncommon to get your pizza pre-sliced when it is served like in the US for example, so you cut the slices with a knife and fork when you receive it, then you might continue eating it with a knife and fork if you're like with work colleagues or people you don't know that well, or you just use your hands in more informal settings. My mother for example uses a fork and knife even when we have pizza at home just because it's less messy.
And as @ECH said if the pizza is very thin or topping-heavy it might be difficult to eat it with your hands because the toppings end up falling off lol.

I wonder if she applied for Jesus but they pooled her (if they even pool postgrads) to Mansfield? Although the fact anyone would think a privately educated white British woman is a good fit for a college focused on outreach to under-represented demographics is incomprehensible.

All Oxford applicants will now know the results of their application. Ruby isn’t one to hold back from her self-adoration posts and reminding us mere mortals of how super clever and unique she is. I’m thinking this change recently is more about an attempt to save her brand (and income) from disappearing and to distract people away from speculating about Oxford/next year (academic year of course, did you not know that the year starts in September -October for Oxbridge- and ends in August?) and similar to the way she deletes comments, posts, changes titles - if it’s no longer there, it never happened? Like a small child putting their hands over their eyes and thinking no one else can see them because they can’t see.
She pronounces it two different kinds of wrong
First it’s ”calisthmatics”, then it’s ”calisthenetics”. My theory is that she’s trying to boost engagement by mispronouncing, misspelling and misusing words, in the hopes that people will correct her.OMG - no! Cringe. Sufferer of second hand embarrassment here. Anyone else?

In the comment someone has said this "I followed Emily Dickinson's 2am Writing Routine" - says woman who was recently bemoaning her poor sleep routine and I have to say I agree with them entirely as the other week Ruby was saying that she was struggling to find a good night routine yet in this video she decides to wake up at 2am.

Every time I see one of her handmade creations I just... this is her full time job and the only thing she does... why is it looking as sloppy and child like as it did years ago? There is zero improvement. Just for comparison, I took a to do list, turned it, and took 25 seconds to remake her sign. Seriously, come oooooon.
Her absolute privilege to spend her days doing frolicking any which way she desires to be rewarded financially for half assedness.. honestly grinds my gears.

Are you a bullet journal influencer? Woww that calligraphy! Honestly I dont have this talent BUT people like me and Ruby can at least make some straight lines with pencil so our writing is consistent. And one can always trace a digital font to make pretty signs if you have no talent. She really puts zero effort in to anything

I am changing careers from teaching and publishing to nursing, and I consider myself a fairly creative person. But it's not my job nor is it something I make money doing. With what Roob sells I should be bankrolling the ban of influencers and shelter for everyone.Yeahhh, there's zero chance she woke up at 2am for this.
She just changed the time on her analogue clock, climbed into bed at like 7pm to pretend to wake up for the camera and then climbed right back out again.
She's also given up on trying to "accidentally" burn down her house and has decided she'll just go try to start a wildfire in the neighbourhood, randomly burning things in the crack shanty at the bottom of her yard next to what appears to be dried straw, twigs, leaves, cloth and other flammable materials. I hope it was a rainy day when she filmed this.
Ruby: "This is my second time doing this, I just didn't film the other time."
Also Ruby: "This didn't really work for me, maybe it would work if I'd done it a couple of times."
What a baffling mess. It's all the usual Ruby laziness and ineptitude. Choppy editing full of errors and flubbed sentences left in, mid-word cuts, endless recycled footage, no second takes when the dog is wailing in the background once again, obnoxious lip smacking, waving The Claw around, a complete inability to use the English language coherently ("Bahhhrds", "whoyt drasss", "calitshtanitisnacntics") a supposedly educational video that says almost nothing and leaves out tonnes of basic information ("Maybol Lyewistodd wryote thatt...." And who the duck is that for your viewers who might not know, Ruby?).
She's made variations of this video and videos on AMMILY DICKINSON like a dozen times and still not made one complete, vaguely informative video on the topic, she just keeps repeating the same few snippets of information across all of them ("DIDJOO KNYOW THAT AMMILY DICKINSON'S WHOYT DRASS HAD POCKATTS?"). She's also no closer to even trying to explain why Dickinson is her "favourite poet/writer" or what she enjoys about her work.
This doesn't do much to convince me she got into Oxford. She seems to be having another two-steps-back regressive mental breakdown caught on film again and clinging to her fake Emily Dickinson obsession to justify wasting away in her bedroom making the same godawful videos over and over.
