i am still genuinely shocked (and refuse to believe) that she read call me by your name - the mental image of ruby making it through the peach scene alone is too much!

completely agree with your entire post 👏🏻
She claims to have read it twice, yet included footage of herself smashing a peach into her mouth on her Italian holiday with no idea how that connected with anything in the book (which she was "rereading" at the time). Zero chance she's ever read it.

Its just hit me:
1. What an actual waste of time, designing a layout on her tablet for the tea cupboard. Just tidy that shit up?
2. How fucking rude. Keeping all that tea in her parent's cupboard, in such a messy state.
3. She acts like its HER kitchen. Her onscreen text says 'I own a LOT of tea'. Get your own kitchen then, brat.

King's College London were daft enough to let Ruby speak in a public forum about Gen Z stereotypes and I can't think of anyone more out of touch and ill-equipped to offer anything of value to this conversation.

It's probably not a coincidence that none of the public speeches she gives ever end up posted online. I wish we could see what drivel she came out with.

"In in this speech oiy will argue that JAN ZEE are an ASTRONOMICAL JANERATION. They have dallt with COIBERBOLLYING which previous janerations NAVVER had tyoo. Profassor Walter P. Bugelmoyer wryote that "adversity is loike a seagoll troiying tryoo steal the chips of our soul on a seafront of despair". And thaahrfwore JAN ZEE are the SACKOND myost greatest janneration, befwore the Victorians, offcwoarse. [Chews tea]"

The irony of Holocaust charity swindler Ruby ending up sat between an expert in moral and social theology, a student of ethics and a Rabbi two days before Holocaust Memorial Day is quite something.

She's also now identifying as a WROITAH and entrepreneur, even though her only business ties are getting paid in snack bars to post undeclared ads and pretending she's the owner of a failing business that she has no involvement in.

As far as I can remember, someone called her out on the board not making any sense, and she replied with something about ”this is just staged for the photo, we only play chess at night” 😂 In the dark? Where no one can see?
Of all the things that annoy me about Ruby, her complete inability to admit when she’s wrong is probably the most irritating. She will never, ever admit that she doesn’t know something and will either ignore the criticism or come back with some daft excuse (because obviously when you play chess at night it doesn’t matter where you put the pieces 🙄). My favourite is when she’s pulled up for an incorrect pronunciation and she always has to respond with ‘well, I’ve heard it pronounced this way so …’. It’s hilariously annoying.

I'm confused as to why her LinkedIn states that she graduated in 2023. Did she do this to make it seem like she hasn't been out of school for that long? Or is it just a mistake?

Also, adding Trampolining Society and Harry Potter society (VP) is definitely not the kind of thing you add to a professional LinkedIn profile as an adult. I wouldn't even have added this to my academic resume as a teen. Lol.
I dont think listing out the modules is appropriate either. Especially where she puts an explanation in square brackets about attending the class but not formally taking the module. Just because she is so studious and awesome, she sat in on the class out of interest. Like, what is she trying to say? And why? It comes across as try-hard

I still cant get over the fact that her and her parents think its a good idea to let her teach. Literally weeks ago she had a panic attack from meeting friends. Putting her in front of a classroom is just setting her up for failure. Her mental health problems are gonna increase heavily and I guess shes just gonna go away with the conviction that "traditional jobs" are just terrible for mental health etc...
There would have been so many jobs suitable for Ruby for a gentle start (especially since she isnt really dependent on the money) to ease her into work environments while working on her problems. But teaching fits into her weird fantasy she built of herself, so why question if its even remotly suitable for someone with severe social anxity / phobia...

Its just so sad to see how she is a privileged person with multiple resources (time, money, family etc.) which would make it easy for her to work on her mental health, but she and her parents are just completly ignoring any problems she has.
A friend of mine has been diagnosed with social phobia and depression at the beginning of last year, she has to run her own household, work fultime, has absolutly no support from her parents etc. while struggling with her mental health. But shes making it a point to have therapy and work on the issues, and in the last year alone she improved a LOT with help. Like if she can do it, Ruby can do it 100x easier.
But what is Ruby doing? F*** all together with romanticising her problems...

Wakes up at 6:30 - dark
Brushes teeth - dark
Does facecare - bright daylight
Continues facecare - dark again
Another cut facecare - light again
Makes bed - dark again
Goes downstairs 6:45 - dark again
Makes tea - magic daylight
Makes “breakfast” - dark again
Day cut - because she didn’t have time.

Ruby has absolutely no sense of continuity at all. If this is what a morning routine looks like just imagine her trying to put together a novel.

Ruby shows us a supposed hour of her reading Spare where in that she barley makes a dent. How are we supposed to believe she reads four million books per year.

What does she mean by 'quantum;? Once again, describing something in a way that is just a bunch of words strung together
Every post from her reads like a child's 'What I did on my weekend' school report run through an AI language translator.

Even just from the "context" section, there's a total lack of understanding of the material she's basing her reading off of.

She speaks of Victorian England, but the books she's chosen *aren't* Victorian and weren't read by the Brontës during the Victorian period.

She talks of how expensive books were still to them even after they were published but fails to work out that Emily was dead within a year of Wuthering Heights' publication, and Anne died soon after. And, really, for Charlotte, certainly, her access to books did increase - as evidenced in the *numerous* letters between her and her publisher's reader, William Smith Williams.

She quotes a letter from Charlotte to her best friend Ellen, but clearly hasn't read any of Charlotte and Ellen's other early letters because if she had, she may have realised that many of these letters are full of pretension and over-exaggeration, with Charlotte writing in an overly formal manner that she discards as she ages. It's not the most reliable of letters to quote from.

Basic research needed!

Posting this when her entire personality is a collection of fake hobbies, interests and affectations to impress social media and every inconsequential thing she does (or pretends to do) is only done so she can post it on social media for hollow praise or to sell a product she doesn't like or use.
I think the best course of action for her is to leave the Internet. I don't mean she should be deplatformed but it isn't healthy for her to revolve her whole life around "aesthetics" and seeming a certain way. Real life is messy and nobody is the best at anything. Instead of being someone who enjoys reading casually, does well academically and likes Victorian history, the YouTube version of Ruby has to be someone who reads the MOST books and does the BEST in academics and knows more than ANYONE about the Victorians. And that's not a healthy way to be! Social media teaches you that you can't just enjoy something casually, it needs to be a cornerstone of your Online Identity. Ruby needs time away to experiment, explore, find who she is and what she actually wants to do. YouTube only helps to keep her in a bubble.

What does she mean, privacy? Nobody's asking her to name the school or her students, just talk about what she does day-to-day. Her reluctance tells me it's not much (not to undermine the work of teaching assistants, just Ruby).

Also lol at her being like "I won't tell you anything about it but I totally recommend that YOU do it without knowing anything about you or your attributes".
She's a Youtuber who does vlogs, she shares absolutely everything about her life, you can easily find out where she lives and where she went to school online, but suddenly describing her job is too personal for her?
Whenever she thinks something will make people think less of her then suddenly it's too personal to share. Unfortunately it seems to me she's self-conscious about the wrong things lol.
