Wait okay I wasn't making it up, I found it on bilibili. https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1bt411t7oX/?spm_id_from=333.337.search-card.all.click. Idk why she took it down. Weird!I just tried to find an old video of Ruby's and I think she may have taken it down. It was one of her "reset days", and I distinctly remember the thumbnail but it doesn't come up on her page anymore. I remember her cleaning her coconut bowl with some oil on a piece of kitchen roll and doing some kind of yoga or stretching. I think it was first year uni, though it could've been second. Does anyone else remember that?

Please nobody think I'm dissing Exeter, it's a great uni with a great English department, but there's other unis where she really could have fulfilled her dark academia fantasies and come away inspired
My sister went to St Andrews and loved her time there. It's a quiet town, but right next to the sea and full of old buildings. The uni has a sheltered feel that would have suited Ruby. I also wonder if she applied to Durham and got rejected. I suspect the English department gets lots of applications - possibly even more than Oxford? I think Ruby chose Exeter partly because it's so close to home. Durham and St Andrews are too far north for her, unfortunately.Yep or St Andrews! I really like this idea. I wonder if there's a specific thread for language learners? I'd been doing a Spanish night class, but it stopped when lockdown happened, then went online. I want to restart and it's always more fun to learn languages with other people. Totally agree about The Student Room btw. There's so much snobbery! They're like an army of mini Jack Edwards. Is there a thread on here for uni students and aspiring students at any level from undergrad to masters btw? It might be fun to start one, Tattle users are so smart and chatty rather than that Student Room place which is like a playground
Done! https://tattle.life/threads/the-student-thread.33782/. You can do a language learners one too, was thinking about doing an evening class myselfI really like this idea. Hello fellow German! I haven't watched the video yet. But it's going to be really cringey, I used to work in Edinburgh and I know the place quite well. Seeing her stumbling about in one of my favourite cities is probably going to make me irrationally angryIm German and I watched that video and didnt even realize she mentioned Goethe before reading in here. I thought it was just some random poet I hadnt heard of... Ouch
if i didn’t know any better i would assume this comment was sarcasticView attachment 1603291
her commenters are so thick it astounds me. do they really think that she came up with the phrase “stone’s throw” by herself?
They're probably not a native speaker and have never heard this phrase beforeView attachment 1603291

I don't know if I have the patience to recap the whole thing, it's all just so boring. It's just one endless montage of Ruby staring in fake childlike wonder at things, smiling lovingly at mummy, robotically reading poetry by others and atrocious poetry of her own, and parroting half-remembered factoids about things she doesn't care about.Damn, she's graced us with an hour's worth of content over two days! I don't think I can get through all that without an aneurysm but @gossip_guy I'm looking forward to your hilarious reviews
Excuse the silly question but aren't all tea supposed to be vegan anyway? I never saw a beef tea or a chicken one, so unless you put milk in it, it'll always be vegan, won't it? She really makes the simplest things super complicated.Mini rant, but why, when narrating that she drank tea or coffee or ate a meal does she have to specify that it is VEGAN. We get it, the word doesn't need repeating everytine you consume something. Just say you had dinner, and that it was 'BAH-TAH-nut Squash' or whatever. Just say you drank tea without saying it was of course VEGAN tea.
IMO, it makes vloggers look smug or pious when ALWAYS specifying the food like this all the time. Like a fixation. Just say you had tea, and it was nice. We can assume by default that it will be vegan.
(Pretty much every video is like that)
Since she's not doing anything with her life, she can't write about anything else, really. All she does all day, everyday, is hide in her dusty bedroom, starve herself to death and have walks in her garden. With no experience of live whatsoever, it's no wonder that girl can't write anything publishable.Ruby is incapable of writing about anything but the weather, or nature, trying desperately to imitate all the poetry clichés she can. But what's the point in that for journaling? Where's the self-exploration in just running the weather report through a thesaurus? Who needs to look back on their old diaries to see nothing but a record of how blue the sky was?
She writes a poem about seagulls, because she was looking at a seagull at the time. Such imagination! This isn't even the first poem about seagulls that she's written recently! Everything she does in life is a rehashed slice of lazy ineptitude.
I know and how did she not know about the Scott’s Monument before she went to Edinburghgood god, she can’t pronounce anything right, can she? it’s caledoniaN sleeper, not caledonia

i’m being so nitpicky but she acts like she’s the first to discover anything in edinburgh?? “we spotted this huge monument!!” it’s right in the middle of the most tourist filled street in the city, i’d be more concerned if you missed it
