Now I would really love is to read her dissertation, or even one of her earlier uni essays. Though of course that's not gonna happen, sadly - but I'm just so curious at this point!

My masters is now just a complete compendium of letters sent between me and my exes, with a commentary every couple of sentences talking about how each letter was a gift and that each of them squandered that gift 😭
I'm sure you don't put halfway through and then I wrote to my mommy and then I had a snack and now I'm back writing my dissertation

He is a weird little doodle, I like him.
Aw look, he's your profile pic. I don't like how he's watching me. 😅

Ruby confused her "Writing for Children" module with the "Writing to Traumatise Children" module, judging by the nightmare illustrations she shows.
Lol

Also love how in the book review she said 'this is more of a Commonplace Book'. I thought she was saying the book was nothing special, but Googled and found that a commonplace book is an actual thing. Well, I've learned something today.

Thanks! On her Linkedin it says that she finished her law course and is now doing an MPhil in languages. I forgot where but I think it was Cambridge? So she could have milked the studytube lifestyle for a few more years but I guess she didn't feel like it. I understand her but I wish she hadn't deleted everything.
It seems rather drastic for a person to delete all their old videos, most people leave them up because they still get ad revenue from them even if they don't want to post anymore.

Perhaps she just wanted a fresh start when she moved onto her masters or felt that her old content was no longer how she wanted the world to perceive her or maybe social media was becoming damaging to her mental health and she decided to quit - which is perhaps an option Ruby should consider.

It was a good decision to cut that extract about the artist and the muse. I'm uneasy about how this might be applied to Lewis Carroll's work because his 'muse' was Alice Liddell, a child. I don't think Ruby mentions this at all, but there's no way to skirt around the issue.

Super organised and productive but redrafting and CHOPPING AND CHANGING her entire UG dissertation when it’s due in less than a week? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE !

I don’t know whether to be disappointed or relieved that this isn’t hers 😂 Although from the other snippets we’ve seen, her writing probably isn’t any better, which is why it was so easy to believe.
I know, right? And the author isn't a native English speaker, so there's justification for their errors, but what's Ruby's excuse for making all the same errors and more on a daily basis?

"The English dissertation is an 8,000-word extended essay where students shape a distinctive research project in consultation with a member of academic staff."(found that on the Exeter website btw).

I genuinely can't understand how it took her a YEAR to write 8,000 words? I obviously understand it takes time to write, but a whole year and she is still making edits to it??
What she means is she has been spending the year adding inspiration to her Notion, notebooks, Pinterest etc etc :D

As a stopgap until she finally builds all those Holocaust memorials in schools across the country (which is JANUINELY, HONESTLY going to happen, for sure!), Ruby has decided to punish young students by tossing "THARTY" of her shitty unsold planners at them.

Y'know, the planners that have been gathering dust in a warehouse and she's been unable to sell even at drastically reduced prices (they've coincidentally dropped down to £2.99, which is still £2.99 too much). The ones that run from January to December, making them nearly 50% useless for their already questionable purpose. So KOIYND and SALFLASS!

A lot of schools could use a lot of help, and subjecting them to your scatter-brained planning nonsense ain't it, Rubert. Why not volunteer your time to help the community? Why not make a meaningful donation of actually useful school supplies, books or money to a school or appropriate charity instead of offloading your worthless trash from your failed vanity projects onto people and undoubtedly claiming it as a tax write-off?

Marcus Rashford you are not, Ruby.

This was 23 hours ago. No stories posted since. It's a day later and Ruby couldn't be bothered to even follow through on her junk clear-out giveaway despite having all the time in the world to twirl and dance in fields.

She's so lazy and incompetent at everything she does.

This looks suspiciously like the gowns worn at Oxbridge. Cosplaying?
Or Hogwarts. Hermione again.

I want a new video. Sure, she has deadlines coming up in early May… but she’s also spent a total of five days in London (by my reckoning - seeing Andrea, Blakeney’s bday, Anatomy of a Scandal, Downton, and Heartstopper, all on different days) within the past couple of weeks, so it’s not like she’s super commited to just doing her work either.
Yeah, I want to see return of dissertation diaries.

I'm just shocked she doesn't mention libraries? Is she just not on campus enough to remember there's a location that is designated for studying?
She actually prefers getting in everyone else's way at home and in coffee shops, it's her ✨main character moment✨

Has Ruby twirled out of the field of macademia and become lost in the deep dark woods of TV series and movies being her ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE THING?

Rubes, you have said multiple times before that you only consume cinematic content in strictly timed aliquots, although seems like that's only true if it's not GiFtEd, apparently...

I can't get over how in her Deadline Season video, at the end she says "...and to subsidise that, I'm going to set some timers on my phone..."

The word subsidise makes absolutely no sense in this context, what the actual fuck goes through her head when she throws these words out
I'm dying omg
In a corporate environment or any kind of adult workplace she'd be the entire company's laughing stock

Would this be the laptop screen that she disinfects every single day? It's the biggest irony that someone whose entire brand is built around 'productivity' manages to live in such a state of disorganised chaos.
