I can see Ruby moving Blakeny into her house, like Anne Lister and Ann Walker as '2 well respected ladies not inclined to marry' 😂

Her face looks skinny to me, not bloated. She has hollow cheeks now and her skin looks a bit grey-ish. I am actually a bit worried, I have been watching her for a long time and she has changed a lot. Her arms also look very skinny when she is putting her hair up.

I didn't notice her throwing a sandwich away, I thought it was a banana peel. Maybe I didn't pay enough attention. She bought a lot of high calory stuff and didn't eat it (on camera), though.

I liked the vlog, it was entertaining and more interesting than some of her earlier ones. But I do worry about her health.

Is it just me or is the book she's reading while she brushes her teeth mouldy? The little black dots on the top - I brought a book second hand online and it looked just like this and stunk of mould.

The peas in the cereal are so so cursed but I feel the need to confess - I am also partial to frozen peas. Never in cereal, but if I'm cooking something with peas in I eat them straight out of the packet. I don't know - they have a nice texture I guess?

Is this the critical essay she was talking about? Are they usually organised with headings (unless this is just for her use as she writes and she's going to get rid of it)?

She seems to be doing a lot of retelling and summarising, something the tutors on my English Lit course routinely remind us isn't needed in our essays and it wastes valuable space for analysis.
This is the introduction and the document is titled "Final version before PDF" so this is in fact something she's submitting :D

you must have amazing eyesight because I can't even read the title lol
sorry, Tattle got rid of most of the pixels in my original screenshot, I promise it's a lot clearer on the video! It's around 2:20-2:23 in her "Deadline Season Study Day" video from yesterday.

I wonder why she stopped going to therapy. Maybe she didn't feel it was helping? Don't remember if she's ever talked about it.
I can't recall which video it was, but when vlogging leaving one of her therapy sessions she cheerfully announced that she'd completed her X number of weeks.

It's impossible to know for sure without more information, but given everything we know about Ruby, it gave the distinct impression to me that she just viewed therapy as another task to tick off (or part of the influencer starter pack that she only did because other influencers her age were openly talking about therapy so she had to do it, too).

After her last session, she rewarded herself by marking it complete and called it a day. She clearly still needed professional help, so it was bizarre to just stop going, and I can't see any therapist making any progress with her in such a short time.

It's entirely possible she's started going back and hasn't talked about it, but I doubt it since she's been on a downward spiral for the past year and a half. I can't imagine her being honest with a therapist, self-aware enough to acknowledge and admit her problems, or humble enough to want to accept that there's something wrong with her and that someone else can help. She's a narcissist and a compulsive liar, I can't see her opening up and being honest to a therapist, and a therapist can't do much if she won't.

Slapping a lip-service message on-screen does nothing when you're still pushing your dangerously stupid eating habits at every turn, Ruby.
That's true. She's still not setting the best example of normal eating habits and 'actions speak louder than words'.

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but there's something green in that yoghurt. I'm hoping it is just matcha or something pistachio-related, but I'll probably still have nightmares about hidden peas. At least it's not a dead fly.

*Would like to add that my snack wasn't green or oaty. Just wanted to clear that up in case anyone was wondering. 😆

Not gonna lie, I thought that some parts of today's video were actually quite nice and reflective, such as her talking about leaving education. And that some parts were, as usual, weird and pointless.

Why is part of her final ever assignment DRAWING for a LITERATURE degree?? She's clearly not particularly talented at it and those drawings look like a 10 minute doodle, hardly a groundbreaking piece of artwork. If only that had been an option for my english course back in the day, instead of having to write about 30k words in the last term.

I feel that I'm getting stressed for Ruby's dissertation especially when she is mentioning that she is going over to see if she needs to do extra research. There has to be a point where she just has to stop messing around with the dissertation and get it done and handed in. How much work does she have left to do?
Where you feel stress, I feel pure malicious glee 😁 We’ve all been saying for weeks that she’s floundering, and I even thought we might be guilty of a bit of wishful thinking, but the closer we get to the submission date, the more obvious it becomes that her diss is a hot mess. Not a good look for our ✨💫productivity queen💫✨🙌 is it?

but Holly's always had them. I don't think Ruby has.

could it be from bulimia?

I don’t think so. I have eczema and it looks very similar to that. Her hands especially bad at the start of the pandemic when she was pre occupied with using sanitiser which dried them out. Eating disorders can make your skin incredibly dry though, but “bulimia hands” usually refers to a patch of rough skin on the hand rather than general dryness and redness. I also think she’s be displaying more symptoms like swollen cheeks or tooth decay, which doesn’t fit with her oral hygiene obsession. My sister has bulimia and it’s a very dangerous condition I sincerely hope Rubys okay but it is infuriating seeing all the triggering content she puts out.

Back to dressing like a child to help her recover after dressing up more like someone her age for once. She looks like she is about to cry/just very miserable in this photo.

does anyone remember how ruby said in her house vid that she may live in her house in the year after completing her uni degree? do u guys still think shes up to it?
I don't think anyone ever thought she was up to it! I agree with @CatCafe234 that it would be a really bad move. Even if she did, it would be 'playing' at being a grown up, rather than actually being one.

I wonder what's wrong with her hands to make them so red and swollen. I remember her mentioning in a video that she gets to type her exams instead of writing because she can't write (?) with her hands without pain and bleeding (??). It was long ago, somebody please correct me.

As a veteran Holly Gabrielle viewer, I have to say this looks super similar to Holly's hands. Holly has mentioned she has a (harmless) blood circulation condition called Raynaud's (spelling?), and people over on the Holly thread have mentioned that anorexia can make the symptoms worse, apparently. So maybe Ruby has sth similar? Idk though, I'm not a doctor

She's probably got digital submission, most unis changed to that during covid and haven't changed back. Can't be certain about Exeter, but I know it's true for the majority of unis I've worked with since the pandemic.
At my uni we submitted our dissertations digitally last year
Thanks, makes sense, I suppose! I’m a dinosaur who submitted mine a few years ago now

Even so, I have image of her with papers strewn all over her floor hours before the deadline, still crossing words out to get the count down  For someone who makes to-do lists every day and time blocks her day, she’s really not been organised at all with this dissertation. At this stage she should be checking for typos for the last time and submitting it.
