"one of the greatest hardships for schoolchildren: bullying" hmm yes maybe at a fancy private school but a lot of kids have far bigger issues than a bit of teasing in class, like oh I don't know, poverty? broken families? social services? of course bullying is awful for kids that go through it, but it just shows how incredibly out of touch Rupert is.

The whole ”meal” has to be from her malnourished brain, no one else would serve up a single stick of celery, a pickled sliced beet, radishes with the stems on, half a bunch of asparagus and sad halves of toast with raw garlic on top. And are those tiny stacks of anchovies on Mother Granger and Daddy Bones’ plates? The total amount of food would just about constitute a nice dinner salad for one.

Nooo, what is with these bizarre porridge flavours? She's got to stop putting peas and teabags into her oats! On the topic of creme eggs, I saw that they have a ridiculous amount of sugar even by Easter chocolate standards - like 30% of your RDI - so I understand why people might want to avoid them for health reasons, but omg that's no excuse for this watery tea porridge mess.

And it's gifted again. Burn & Bend must be wasting so much of their stock on Rootabix because you see their teas at least 1x a day on her social media and it's always gifted.
Thats because she uses the same tea bag ten times then complains the tea is weak

Why is Ruby dressed like an ill person? It's late April. Why does she need a long red shawl over her clothes, under her duvet? 😅 I know #cosy autumnal aesthetic is her thing and England can be cold, but unless her bedroom has been magically transported to the Arctic Circle, those layers don't make sense! Ruby just chilling (literally) in her igloo of a house...

The new reel on her IG about going to see Waitress - she is literally wearing a primary school summer uniform dress - something designed for actual children!!

I thought this breakfast looked more appealing, but then saw something greenish in top of the image and thought 'god I hope it's not broccoli'. Is it just me? Does anyone else see this? Pea paranoia has reached its peak.

Edit: Think I'm mistaken this time. Phew.

Sooo … Ruby makes a post referencing the climate crisis and her parents, as well as owning at least two houses (three if you count Ruby’s), and at least two cars and a camper van, are apparently in California at the moment. Not to mention Ruby’s own huge carbon footprint accrued mainly through constantly travelling between home and uni (and making her parents drive down almost every week to see her). Does she not see the hypocrisy here?
I believe they are in Santa Cruz, Portugal fwiw. I totally agree about the hypocrisy of her climate awareness nonetheless

I can’t get over that she went with her dad, when every other ‘studytuber’ there came solo - not just that, but people she knows! Even if her dad was in London, from the looks of her stories so was her mum? So why didn’t her parents do something for the day and let Ruby be an independent adult for once!
Unless, of course, the Downton execs invited daddy Bones as an “influencer” in his own right… 😂
I don’t want to be *that* person, but on Jade’s story it said they all invited their parents and Jack had a picture of him and his mum there. But the sentiment still stands for all 3 of them! And the question of why she only invited her dad!

I usually love long hair but Ruby doesnt suit it at all! She looked so much more like her age and better when she had shorter hair (without the awful fringe/bangs though)!
I think the fringe wasn't bad at all, it suited her way more than her recent hairstyle. Correctly styled and with slightly shorter hair, it could be a good hairstyle for her ( except if she keep pleating strands of hair for her ponytail just to look "smart". It doesn't look smart, it looks childish. ). Tbh she looked more mature 4 years ago than now, for her hairstyle and clothing, even her attitude ( I remember going out with friends more often, being interested in other subjects than kids literature ).

I've never seen anyone struggle with a dissertation like this. They specifically design a word count to limit waffling - they know how many words is required, roughly. If she's writing 2000 words over the word count then what is she learning? Definitely not creating succinct essays. I can't believe how much of a fraud this girl is!

Also she has a fitting surname - she should've kept it 😅
She was 2000 words over the limit on her 2000 word critical essay for her other module… I’d be willing to bet money that her diss is at least 6000 words over.

Seriously this is one of the things a dissertation is most useful for imo - figuring out that a masters might not be a good idea for you. (I didn't enjoy the process at all and that helped me decide not to continue studying).
I don't think Ruby is going to understand this though, at all. StudyTube glamorises the struggle and the pain of university, like it's a badge of honour. Going through another year of studying (at least) when you struggle with it is just more clout in that light.

I’m guessing they all got a plus-one and brought their parents because they’re more likely to be interested in the film. To be fair, of the three of them Ruby is the one with the most interest in ‘history’ but I can think of loads more people who would be more suitable. If it was a costume thing then Bernadette Banner’s the obvious one, she’s London-based and far more of an expert on historical costume than Ruby, Jack or Jade. The recent Netflix thing Ruby somehow got invited to just screams that Sixteenth have managed to bag a contract with some fairly legit PR agency and are just throwing their ‘talent’ at anything to see if any of them stick.
Definitely, I could see Bernadette Banner or Rachel Maksy (obviously not London-based, but the kind of influencer I'd think of when I think of costume design/historical clothing content) being a great fit for that kind of event. A booktuber who doesn't read, a charity thief with a worrying interest in Victorian children and an airheaded MLM cult member don't exactly fit the assignment.

The irony is pretty poetic. Gazing up at a university building with hair that’s too long looking like a deluded child who thought she could get into oxford, stood beyond the limits of the gate because she was never able to get there…quick get security in! Shut those gates and keep her out!!
Even with the open gate, it still looks as though they've locked her out.

She has done it herself on her latest instagram post 😂

My mother may have had many faults, but she would never have let me attend a red carpet premier in a tailcoat, and I think I love her a little bit more for that today ❤
Yeah I looked at the pictures she posted and I retract my previous judgment. The dress looks good but I hate that lace shawl thing and the tiny kitten heels, not to mention the fucking tailcoat.
I also really want her to do something different with her hair for once. It always looks boring and unkempt.

Cool she wore sth different and stuff but I hate the dress 😅

Also I have a hard time getting around how that happened and what did they have to do to convince her to take off the tailcoat and show herself in such a "revealing" (to Ruby) dress. Like I feel she would never ever go out in something like that, especially given how awkward she looks, so the whole situation is a bit bizarre to me.
Yeah, the dress is very plain and ordinarily a simple black dress might look great, a long, thin, shoulderless black dress on a malnourished, skeletal elderly child isn't a good look. The way she's hunching her shoulders forward and inward to make herself look even thinner doesn't help at all, she just looks like she's on the verse of collapse and buckling under the weight of the free swag they lured her in with.

I was about to say the dress definitely needs something to compliment it then I saw the shawl and tailcoat. I mean, it still needs something to compliment it, but grandma's doily and a coat stolen from a magician ain't it.

I'd love if she stepped outside her comfort zone without the promise of free stuff and without having to lie about another product she clearly didn't enjoy or watch. Or if she JANUINELY wants to dress like a weird, starved orchestra conductor and that's her personal style, then why did she toss that aside when she hit the red carpet? What happened to Matilda powerposing, being yourself and not following the crowd, Ruby?
