The thing that annoys me most about the ad is that she was literally using the baby as a prop to try and be relatable to other mums when that’s not the reality of her situation.
When my son was newborn and my husband went back to work there were times I had to hold him and make myself something to eat or do other chores at the same time because I was alone. But she doesn’t have to do that. She has Chris at home all the time, if he can hold a camera to film he can hold the baby, not to mention her mum who always seems to be there! It’s just so disingenuous, trying to make out she’s like us but she’s not.

Still wouldn’t be suprised if she ends up on a reality show. The whole mumfluencer seems to be a thing, as if no one else had kids before any of them.

Please don’t let it be the masked singer
If she were on the masked singer I think we'd manage to pick that Pontins voice out within seconds

This thread isn’t fun when it’s like mumsnet. There’s a place for all this I know everything about baby talk and it’s not here! She’s really improved since having the baby I guess she just really is a bad pregnant woman..
Yeah exactly. No one is policing the thread they just don’t want it being derailed with endless debates on who’s the best mother. Same as with the babies name.

Set up a parenting advice thread if that’s your thing

I'm on maternity leave, I'm not on maternity leave...I'm fed up, I'm not fed up ...I'm annoyed with Chris, I'm not annoyed with Chris...

I'm bored with all the unnecessary drama Rosie!

She's in the enviably position that she doesn’t have to worry about working, Chris IS at home all be it with a bad foot, her mum is also on hand to help out. She's clearly addicted to the attention and after the sympathy vote with all the woe is me I'm up feeding Rafe at 2am ....yes Rosie, you and millions of other women ...its not a new phenomenon!

She's become these needy irritant now ...all via her carefully staged posts !

Im 24 weeks pregnant. Can I change my mind about this whole thing now??? Im sewing my foof shut!!! This child is never leaving
I had a c-section because my son was breech (in spite of a midwife trying to talk me out of it beforehand, telling me a “big boned girl like me would be able to push out a breech baby no problem” 😩). Me and my husband were in the room outside the theatre waiting to be taken in and I said to my husband “actually I don’t think this (having a baby) is for me, don’t think I can do it...” He said “aye no worries, we’ll just leave it” with a huge eyeroll!

I always find when I’m really tired if I have a glass of wine it goes right to my head so with lack of sleep with a new born I think two glasses would feel like a whole lot more. It’s not a post to your mates it’s to thousands of people potentially very inexperienced people who will assume what they see is to be copied. It’s also really dull to go on about drink all the time.
If someone has a baby and is choosing to parent based on what some vapid influencer suggests it’s probably them that needs to have sort their parenting out.

It’s like when you were a kid would you jump in a fire just because someone told you to. No.

Personally I don’t get all this bashing her for having a wine, she could have had it hours earlier with her dinner, you don’t know the size, you don’t know the baby is in her bed, Chris is there too, they may have an automatic car which could probably drive if needed etc etc

The car thing is just ridiculous anyway. No one would ever have a drink incase there was an emergency by that theory?

It’s the way Rosie says things, The real Rosie is unfortunately very self involved. She’s allowed to struggle and feel sorry for herself, but making bold statements like having it worse than everyone because Chris broke his ankle is so insensitive. I just wish she’d think her words through

Oh phew....Chris Ramsey’s wife has put a post up saying she’s back from maternity leave. Not sure how I’ve coped whilst she’s been away and not posting because she was on maternity leave.

I thought this. At the end you could tell. Also Chris was just off screen, maybe management are making him oversee her posting now haha
I was a fan of Rosie and Chris but more and more I’m feeling they really aren’t reading the feelings of those in the real world outside their house. This maternity leave post has really annoyed me. It’s so thoughtless to the parents who have to return to proper work (out with their homes!!!) She really needs to check herself- reading daft emails and then recording yourself talking about them is not a full time job, if anything it’s a self indulgent hobby. It does not require you to leave your house or even get out your jammies. If you can drink wine during your ‘job’, it’s probably not really a job! It does not require you to leave your baby, you manage to have your phone on you at all times anyway so could be reading the emails while baby is sleeping if you really need to but I suspect there’s an assistant somewhere who reads them and selects the ‘best ones’ anyway.

P.S. I think the fancy change mat she showed a few weeks ago was an undisclosed gift from a baby show she went to ages ago (when I followed her because I liked her Rosie Mamsie content..rather than now when she has become the caricature she used to pretend to be!)

Rosie getting a load of free stuff from Warburtons, and posting about it across several stories, and tagging them in it, is an ad Hun. You are promoting their company to your hundreds of thousands of followers and influencing them in what your preferred brand is in return for goods.

Just because it’s not cold hard cash, doesn’t make it not an advert. At the very least #gifted

If find generally if influencers start a sentence with “so and so have sent me all of this.... but it’s not an ad” it basically is an ad. You’ve got an on going work relationship with that company, you aren’t unbiased

First time creating a thread, so hope I've done it right. Do I have to thank myself for coming up with the title?

Summary of last thread: Rosie whinged a lot, did a lot of ads, and baby Ramsey has arrived ☺

I have just listened to today's Lockdown Parenting episode and their guest was Paddy Mcguinness. Rosie needs to listen to this. 3 chdren with autism and all she moans about is how hard her life is in lockdown. Fucking self centred bint!

Just switched ep 100 of the podcast off a few minutes in - the moaning and negativity! Jesus! I know he's broke his ankle and it is shit for sure but it's not what I want to hear right now.

Also I suspected they were breaking lockdown rules but Chris confirmed it on that podcast starting a story with "my mum was round here the other day and Rosie showed her in our fridge..." Definitely referencing after Rafe was born so once lockdown had started. They already say they are in a bubble with Rosie's mum cos she lives alone, how do they justify Chris's parents visiting too?

I'm due a baby very soon and we have to pick one set of parents to be our support bubble (for having an under 1 yr old) and accept the other grandparents will only see baby from a distance, on walks, etc for the time being. I hate when people just ignore the rules to suit themselves ☹ makes me feel like I'm a mug for doing the right thing.

I honestly do not get why she thinks that she is so hard done by. Yes, she’s just had a baby, she’s not the only one and as far as I was aware he was a much wanted baby after a loss. Yes, her husband has broken his foot but hes not an invalid, he can surely still help? She acts like she’s the only one who isn’t allowed to do anything. Boris isn’t doing this to her personally. As we’ve said on here before she seriously needs to check her privilege. It appears they have no money worries, they have a lovely, comfortable warm house with plenty food on the table. As far as I’m aware she hasn’t been directly affected by COVID. As in no one close to her has been ill or has died. Yes, be real, be slobbing about in pjs all day! We all do it! Yes, this is tough, but it’s tough for everyone. Stop this pity party! It became boring months ago!

I used to love Rosie but she's annoying me now. Calling MPs privileged when her life is pretty fantastic.
She’s a lot more in touch with the working class reality than a lot of these privileged MPs though, whether she has money now or not

Totally agree with you...which Rafe did twice on the first clip. I made an observation, not a criticism. I'm staying 🤐 from now on 😂
Same. I thought tattle rules were that you didn’t try to moderate a thread.. if you don’t like a comment you just scroll on by.

God she’s a rude cow 😂 Mind you I can’t believe people feel the need to message her about the dangers of drinking juice in the night, they’re not her mum!
