I was a fan of Rosie and Chris but more and more I’m feeling they really aren’t reading the feelings of those in the real world outside their house. This maternity leave post has really annoyed me. It’s so thoughtless to the parents who have to return to proper work (out with their homes!!!) She really needs to check herself- reading daft emails and then recording yourself talking about them is not a full time job, if anything it’s a self indulgent hobby. It does not require you to leave your house or even get out your jammies. If you can drink wine during your ‘job’, it’s probably not really a job! It does not require you to leave your baby, you manage to have your phone on you at all times anyway so could be reading the emails while baby is sleeping if you really need to but I suspect there’s an assistant somewhere who reads them and selects the ‘best ones’ anyway.

P.S. I think the fancy change mat she showed a few weeks ago was an undisclosed gift from a baby show she went to ages ago (when I followed her because I liked her Rosie Mamsie content..rather than now when she has become the caricature she used to pretend to be!)

9 minutes into the podcast and Chris Ramsey’s wife is already have a dig towards tattle.

All the not getting any free time stuff too. The boys were at Chris’ mums when they did the podcast. Plenty of time for a quick shower

I’ve gone off the podcast lately and it’s a shame as I used to really enjoy it. Haven’t unsubscribed yet as I’m waiting for it to get back to how it used to be

I just don’t get CRW.

Government And shops clearly say if you can shop alone, please do, don’t be bringing 2 adults , a toddler and a baby.

Wouldn’t you want to keep your baby and toddler safe in a pandemic even without guidance?

It’s utter trash. you may be waiting along time. i genuinely listened to it in the summer from the start and it was ok, then I continued listening to it only to it descend into trashy, debauched (crw word) shite

Did anyone pick up on CRW begin to start moaning about home schooling and working? Chris Ramsey took over the conversation and started rambling about how awkward zoom classes are with no mention of work.

Management have definitely had a word with her. What work are they doing that can’t be done in the evening or after homeschooling??

Also she admitted on the podcast that she drove the kids to her mum’s house knowing that she shouldn’t be doing that. 1) she’s not legally insured to drive this soon post caesarean 2) put yourself at risk by all means but not your children!

That tiktok back from maternity leave - 1. She never went anywhere and 2. That video was beyond cringe and I was embarrassed for them. What have they turned into, very very odd and massively lost their way with their branding

Yeah I thought that too. She’s dragging him downwards not upwards. He looked uncomfortable. Again the poor baby wasn’t held gently. The words dragged up came to mind.

you know what, I feel sorry for her, she’s obviously very lonely as there are no point to her posts.

I drove 2 weeks post section. I needed to.
I called insurance company first and they said they have nothing in their policy around it, and as long as I feel medically fit then it’s my choice.
Sorry, not meaning to derail, just giving my side. She’s still a tit

I thought her mum was their bubble. Obviously the rules don’t apply to CRW!

I haven’t listened to it since Christmas as just got so fed up of CRW. Found lockdown parenting hell and it’s a better podcast frankly

Loathe to defend CRW but I was given the all clear to drive 2 weeks after both of my sections when I was discharged from the midwives. Not that I drive mind!

very much agree she’s a massive prat Still though

It’s sad that she’s so desperate to go out and get drunk when she’s got a newborn at home.

I wonder if she'd be so desperate for it if she had had more of the normal socialising while pregnant? Also, if she could go out and about meeting friends and showing the baby off, would she have actually taken proper maternity leave?
