A few months ago I saw he was renovating a home in Morocco - stunning. I remember he had bought a loft or something in NYC, renovated it like a club. The next thing I read was that he was back in London. I believe his wife is a music producer.
I think his money and flitting to luxurious wealthy places at the drop of a hat is what Rose truly misses. She is an angry woman and seems to want his attention proving that she has a wealthy lifestyle too. Being rich and/or wearing the accoutrements of big money is very very important to Rose.
I remember when Rose visited his family's upper east side brownstone - they are clearly very wealthy. I agree that she seems to never have recovered from it. His wife is tiny and pretty.

She was claiming to have been hospitalised multiple times - from what? You don't get admitted to hospital over bruises. Or even broken limbs. Maybe a leg but even that would probably be a day surgery.

Anyway - Damian seems to have chosen to ignore her.

Do you remember when she went to Ibiza right after they broke up and someone said she was drunk from early morning, all day, crazy? So perhaps he was quite mean to her.

Yes, a friend had written about her abusive relationship on her blog, it seemed like immediately Rose had a version that she amplified and embellished at every opportunity. She did have that photo in hospital with her gown up to her vag, which later she claimed was because of D. I think it was PBB who said he had to call the police because of Rose.
It was funny because there she was in her fixer-upper, buying shelves to put her Mulberry bag and Hermes carrier bag. She even said she bought a large antique mirror at auction (which was still at the flat after she left). Anyway, she ended up in the teeny flat with Phoebe out of the blue, supposedly because Mummy said she had lost her muchness. (I just remembered she said she bought the painting and porcelain at auction for her LA fixer-upper.) She really hasn't changed much.

Yeah, they're proper NYC high society Democrats. Which is probably why Rose was claiming she'd be a Democrat if she was American. I think she's easily influenced by those around her.
Worth remembering though that Damian is basically a nepo baby and none of his businesses have ever truly succeeded. IIRC he's mentioned in interviews how he started investing in property as a student at St Andrews just as a housing boom started - never mentioned how a US college student abroad could afford to do so. Even more ridiculous when you realise a US student would have ZERO UK credit record

Things about gun laws, abortion, I mean as awful as the tories are I cannot imagine them having a leader as bad as trump. Similarly I would assume Damon (if he votes here) would vote tory

I’m not from the Uk but have gotten the impression that a lot of conservatives there take a gutless approach to abortion reform and just abstain from voting on things like telemedicine abortions (but that some are more progressive - though some republicans are more progressive on the issue too).
A Conservative UK Government legalised same-sex marriage. It's hard to make any like-for-like comparisons between political parties in different countries I find. The Democrats for the most part aren't as left-wing as the UK Labour party either.
This. There may be a few macro similarities but to say they are alike is rather reductive. The political landscape in the two countries is so different.

I'm from the UK and for me the impression of US politics is just it is a lot more extreme, even the tory party don't openly criticise the principles of the NHS for example( regardless of the fact that they are consistently underfunding it) but all I see in the US is talk about "socialist medicine " as if it is some kind of stalinist plot. Obviously there is a lot of difference between different members of the republican party but this is kind of the issue having such a huge number of people represented by just 2 maim parties
