To be fair “no banking access due to police seizing them” sounds like either very dodgy behaviour was going on or RSM style exaggeration rhetoric.

I funded the book because at the time I didn't have any reason to believe that it wouldn't be published. I hadn't twigged Roadsidemum was a scammer, and I've funded several books via Unbound and my previous experiences doing that had all been positive. I thought it was an important book that would amplify the voices of people who are lacking a voice in society. I was also relieved to see that she was using an established publishing platform to do the whole thing, rather than "raise funds on kickstarter and then have to find a publisher etc."

I'm extremely disillusioned with the way Unbound have dealt with this and will be considering very carefully whether I ever get involved with crowdfunding another book with them.

Same, I didn’t contribute to her book but have contributed to others via Unbound and it’s always been positive to date.

Unbound don’t seem to have had a contingency plan for “what if our author turns out to be a massive hole who doesn’t deliver” and it’s bitten them right in the arse.

The irony being none of this would have happened if she'd actually committed to delivering the book. Sorry I don't buy the claims of illness having the impact they did as she was able to spend so much time living her best life flying around the country for grim mating sessions with ML in his retirement village. She's a lazy grifting abusive hole scammer with no redeeming qualities whatsoever apart from providing unintentional comedy material for these threads.

I think she is disabled but I think she exaggerates the extent of her ME for sympathy and headpats. No doubt stealing stories from other people with ME and adapting them to whatever whine she wants to have today - hence the amount of them that don’t make sense because she has teenage children who are capable of doing X, Y and Z.

I think this primarily because EasyJet clearly engaged with her publicly re:wheelchair so there must be basic truth to the story that she flew with them with a wheelchair and they damaged it. Similarly I know people have pondered whether she has kids but there was clearly real contact with Chartwells so again, basic truth though if she claimed she’d changed genders and/or ages slightly for her anonymity I’m sure they’d have been “yeah makes sense”.

I have no doubt she owns a power chair and flies with it. Also certain that Easyjet damaged and replaced it.

I am however questioning whether she has faked the extent to which she requires the power chair. In much the same way she uses the sunflower lanyard plus play acting to imitate someone with intellectual disabilities.

I would love to know what Sam Jennings - who helped her with the gofundme for the power chair - thinks now that RSM has been properly exposed as someone who lies for financial gain.
