What’s the nearest shopping centre with decent shops to them? The Freeport doesn’t look great…
I used to have elderly family living in Horsea, so would regularly visit. The place always depressed me. This was 10 years ago now, but back then there was literally nothing to do and the Freeport just had a few random, dusty shops.

Just came here to say it seemed the washing line is her new personality. She does know she could have had one in her old garden, right? Right?!

Side note, it is a gorgeous garden. But I am sure I will be bored of it very soon as it’s clearly the new morning picture setting.

Fancy getting to 30 and being excited about hanging washing out , ok if you have lived in a high rise all your life , but come on !!

I regularly go walking in the Dales and every farmhouse you see often has washing out on a line, sometimes even under the roof of a open outbuilding , even on cold days its flapping away as theres that much fresh air and wind . Moves to a built up area with an enclosed garden and puts washing out , make it make sense !!

Please mama Beaver go round and show her how to hang out washing and how to sort colours ! Maybe you could move onto how to chop an apple in to slices

See the thing is Begs many of us have rotary washing lines and grass and flower beds and mugs we can hold up in the air while we're stood in our dressing gowns, I'm struggling to feel the envy tbh (or understand how it's going to provide you with an income)

Pegging out and pottering round the back with my lad and the pets on the daily hasn't turned me into a 5k a month boss babe so if the math ain't mathing one things for sure without the beautiful aspirational Dales as your back drop the content ain't giving .

I’m sure when asked where they’re moving to in a Q&A she shows Bridlington on the map not Hornsea?

I did think would she go down the homeschool route to avoid fines for taking them out for holidays. That’s assuming fines aren’t in place for children who are homeschooled, I don’t know how it works in all honesty.
To home school she would need basic literacy, numeracy and vocabulary skills, there are pre schoolers at a higher level than her,Steve isn't far behind. Homeschooling should only be because it offers a better standard of education than the school and not for the convenience of people who prioritise holidays over education

Our local council shows the same, but each school sets their own training days so they're no shown. Half the schools round here have a training day today.

Hmm either school has said start them the next day so more time to settle them in than first day back or she doesn't start them until after they have been on holiday , thinking they will avoid the fines !! 🤔

No Steve ? Started work already ??

Ah okay, our council's website term dates lists when 'all resume' and/or 'pupils resume' .

I wonder if she'd ever consider setting up her camera facing towards her.

I can’t wrap my head around her being depressed and annoyed about where they’ve moved to. That house is bigger than the shack, newer and easier to decorate and a lovely size garden for them, much better location - close to school, socialising etc etc. I just don’t get why she would be embarrassed. In terms of price and size it really isn’t much of a downgrade and the vast majority of people would understand them moving due to location alone with 3 young children. There must be something else going on here, I refuse to believe she loved living in the bloody Dales, cut off from civilisation that much!

The only thing I can think of is that she didn’t want to move to Hornsea. I don’t think it’s necessarily about moving away from the shack because I think she’d have probably happily moved to Skipton, but I get the impression she didn’t want to move there and was forced into the whole thing by Beaver and his mum.
