Friends of mine have suffered losses in pregnancy and it's made me so mindful about sharing big over the top announcements and reveals. With my first I posted a pic of a parenting book and said 'currently reading', that was my announcement. This time I've not shared anything. What's the point? The people in my life who need to know have been told face to face, privately.
I'd imagine anyone struggling with fertility or who has experienced a loss will be very tempted to unfollow her now, if they haven't already. Not saying women shouldn't celebrate their pregnancies but have a bit of empathy and maybe don't make it your sole topic for the next 8 months?
