There was an article in one of the papers highlighting the amount of people who initially left big cities to relocate to the countryside, but are selling up because they are bored and isolated and can't adjust. I refuse to believe she's happy living the country life, when she does absolutely nothing to embrace it. She dresses like a city chav, spends all her time in chain eateries, wants the dungeon to look like a new build....rural life my arse!
I totally understand this. I live in the countryside but good transport links mean I am 15/20 mins into a decent town and close to a motorway network.
I love living here, because I love the peace and quiet, I'm a keen gardener, happy walking across fields daily, don't care about fashion and am the average age of the village pub goers so happy to chat in there.
Living here in my late 20's? Not a hope in hell, it would be hideous, I would bored senseless. She is totally the wrong demographic for where she lives. She needs to be in a town where she can spend her days dressing up to go and sit in a cafe and take photos of herself.
She is clearly living someone else's dream, she can show off that view as much as she likes but it is so clear it doesn't make her happy and she is too proud/ignorant to realise it.
I do think this is where Instagram gets interesting, there are people making life choices that are so clearly influenced by how it looks on the gram rather than their authentic feelings. And they claimed to be the influencers!!!!
