Also, for the last month I have been lying on a mattress in my bedroom, as my bed is broken and have struggled to get money together to replace it. Omg. Admittedly my room is a heat trap and gets very muggy in daylight. So in the daytime I have been leaving my window wide open to air the room. Well, hand on heart it has been FREEZING. The air seems to travel downwards. Because the mattress is on the floor you can’t tuck the duvet in properly and after a night of rolling over, tossing, turning it slides off. I cannot warm up at all and have been going to bed in knee high fluffy socks and a thick fluffy onesie with a thick duvet on top. Sorry to bring it back to the topic of the boys beds but now that I’ve experienced it I genuinely can’t comprehend why she’s happy for them to sleep on the floor like that, they must be so cold, especially since it’s an old house... I’d imagine it being draughty and that’s without counting if Woody has an accident at night.
