I stupidly googled adrian jones. My goodness my heart feels heavy. The photos that the media has obtained is disgusting. Why would they show such graphic horrible photos of this poor boy who was suffering? Makes me so sad.
I thought the same, I initially discovered it after a friend shared it on Facebook but the link was American. I was quite shocked when I googled it just now and saw it was on UK media sites with the same graphic photographs. I’ve never seen anything like that before it’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen-Thats why I put it into a spoiler sorry I didn’t put the follow up with the name into a spoiler too.

Anyone that hurts children deserves a bullet between the eyes, absolutely no excuse and only a truly evil person would hurt someone so defenceless. The peadophile Hunter series kept me awake all night the first episode they went into a lot of detail and it just breaks my heart and makes me want to scoop my children up and never let them go 😢

Also watched some videos of the Delphi murders and there were a couple of comments saying one of the girls dads was a police informant and there’s a lot more to the story! Obviously that could be complete rubbish though.

I just read that man and woman in Adrian Jones case both pleaded guilty to their crimes, I think that’s because the state they live in if they were put on trial and convicted of murder they would have gotten the death penalty. I have differing opinions on death penalty but I think in this case they are cowards.

Sorry what do you mean by a PR exercise? That it was made up?
Sorry, should have explained myself better. I meant that some people think it’s a PR exercise because of the terrible press the Met have gotten over the past week due to their handling of the women’s rights protests/Sarah Everard case.

The Tories spending £2 million on this should be considered a real life crime.

god that Adrian Jones story, those are the children that haunt me when I can‘t sleep. Especially in these very rural, remote communities you wonder how many are hidden away.

i can (sort of) understand how a person can suddenly snap and have a burst of anger or violence, but what I will NEVER understand is how a person wakes up every morning and is constantly cruel and unkind. How can anyone torture a little child ?
We have empathy, regardless of law the fact we have empathy means we don't like seeing vulnerable humans , in this case children being abused or hurt ot bullied, thats why it's hard to get your head around. I'm not at all paternal, but I know when the empathy kicks in as it feels unbearable to even think about children like James bulger suffering, I cant even think about it tbh, I'm that bad I'm squirming at animals treated badly.
One of them is a dangerous sociopath, they even went straight to killing, most kids torture animals for kicks and then kill as adults, I think the other one was slightly less inclined but at that age he was more than likely going along to impress the other one, and I'm guessing his home life made him desensitised to violence, and they were just a perfect match, the planner and sadist with someone who thinks it's acceptable to do what he did and probably wanted to impress.

Classic sociopath and psychopath added to a sexual interest in children means the very worst people, as they will be cruel for fun, and laugh and enjoy the pain of a vulnerable child , or human or animal , have food while doing it, have a sleep and do it all over again.
Paedos will never be cured , think of a bad habit that is hard to give up , or even people who are sex addicts, at least if they are with consenting adults the only problem is how it affects day to day life, peados seem addicted to being sexually attracted to children, so why they are allowed out to keep doing it I don't know, you wouldn't put a heroin addict in a flat next door to a heroin dealer, yet peados are released and can live near schools, if chemical castration can get rid of the urge then sod human rights it should be done imo. Or build a man made island somewhere and dump them there, they are too much of a risk to the most vulnerable imo

I've seen the very worst things humans can do to humans, cartels in Brazil and Mexico being the worst for human torture, which they film and put online , to scare others and to shock , and not all are psychopaths, they are just desensitised to killing, so again they are a bit like one of the killers of James bulger, probably never would have committed murder, but their peers do it and violence is all too common in their so they join in , if you can think of the very worst torture then its probably been done in South America and put online , and not on the dark Web either, luckily it's not against children, just other cartels , life is cheap, it's horrific to watch.

Luckily a very high percentage of us have empathy so wouldn't like to cause pain and suffering to others, the most alarming thing is kids in gangs stabbing other gangs, it a long way off the cartels, but these kids are growing up desensitised to violence .

totally agree, watching images of children being abused ( I hate the term child pornography, it is child abuse, nothing else) and having done it more than once....
A woman at my child’s nursery was found to have participated in online stuff. It went to court as it’s obviously a wider case of a number of them caught sharing stuff but she got off basically, back into society. Couldn’t believe it. Obviously not working at the nursery anymore; they found no evidence that she was abusing the kids there, but that she had a sick interest for her to be doing the online stuff. What haunts me is that when i met her over a year before her arrest when my child had started (she wasn’t in my child’s room btw but I met her in passing most days) I did actually think “is she a pweirdo?” This thought was entirely based on her appearance would you believe - ugly, obese, single, and lots of smirking. No I’m not saying all ugly obese single women at nurseries are paedos. But how the hell did I get that passing vibe and have that thought about her, that intuition? Is it because I read about so many crimes, maybe? My friend who had her child there too said I thought she was so so lovely I can’t believe she’s like that. I didn’t whenever I spoke to her in passing, I didn’t get a good vibe off her. They are everywhere they walk amongst us and it’s frightening.

If anyone is interested and you can't wait until it's shown in the UK, the new season of Web of Lies (it's usually rebranded as Evil Online here with a British narrator - it's exactly the same show though) is available.

I'm halfway through. The format and titles have changed, there's no narrator anymore and the stories don't seem quite as intense as earlier seasons (some of them are quite mind blowing) but still worth a watch.

1. Killer Chatroom

2 . I See You

3. Virtual Hitchhiking

4. Lonesome Cowboy

5. The Model Predator

6. Tortured Hero
7. Never Let Her Go

9. Cruel Intentions

10. Web of Spies

Thanks for these , web of lies us a decent series

UK media sites blur out dead mangled up animals but they don’t blur out a poor emancipated child threading filthy water.

This reminds me of child prostitution in Philippines (?), pretty sure it was covered in Stacey Dooley Investigates but I've only really seen extracts from it
yeah I was about to comment abotu that documentary. genuinley the most horrifying thing I have seen. The channel 4 one was pretty bad, but that one was so much worse. I cannot fathom how someone could explot their children in that way

“swayed from side to side and rocked in his chair, throughout the 27 minute hearing.” Are you all thinking what I’m thinking
Yep. If he goes down that route, it's likely to delay the trial. In my experience, any case involving a true mental health defence seems to take longer.

Two fairly recent "trial of the facts" I've followed.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-54991471 - nearly two years to come to court

❗Trigger warning - graphic❗
www.bbc.com/news/amp/uk-england-tyne-51855111 - nearly a year to come to court

And this one happened in October 2019 (not December as the report states) It was originally being heard at The Old Bailey and a mental health defence was indicated but I think it's been moved to Ipswich as there's a fitness to plead hearing ongoing at the moment for someone with the same name. I suspect this will end up as a "trial of the facts".

But we are talking about very GENUINELY mentally ill people here (the first two cases anyway)

Let’s hope belmarsh manage to keep him alive till the trial. Do you think that could be one of the reasons why it seems to have been fast tracked given the back log? Because he’s a suicide risk?

Sorry if I’ve missed this question being answered but why have the police not released the cause of death for Sarah?

More likely to be due to public interest (as in seeing justice done quickly because he's a serving police officer)

Saying that, it's still seven months away - I read somewhere earlier that custody time limits have been extended to eight months (rather than six) due to the backlogs.

I don't think they have to. It's usually stated when the inquest is opened though.

I did see one report that said the cause of death couldn’t be determined but that may be misreporting by the media
