I listened to all the shattered lives podcasts documenting the court case on Aisling Murphy Murder in Tullamore Ireland.
Jozef Puska has been found guilty.
He lied the whole way through the trial & seemed to be smiling & smirking. It was a completely random attack, he’s a married man with no previous history, he has 5 kids, one being 10months at the time of the murder. His family sat in court every day supporting him. The mind really boggles. It’s so scary! Absolutely heartbreaking for Aisling’s family.

You’re right. When trans identified males commit crimes (usually sex offences) they are female crimes. When trans identified females commit crimes they are also female crimes.

I always remember the case and the documentary about the family who lived in a mansion in England and he was in crazy debt. Killed the animals, killed his daughter and wife and set the place on fire. I will never understand it, you killed your own pets and then your family and for what? I'm pretty sure they buried the daughter and mother together but not the dad as they were so mad at him.

Another addict who’s insatiable need for that ever so harmless drug cannabis took him to a fantasy world of violence and psychosis and resulted in the death of an innocent women who in terms of talent, intelligence and potential was so far above him she might as well have been a different species.

I’d like to think we eventually caught him due to good police work, but no, it was pure luck. We let Sara down very badly. I hope to god the parole board don’t do the same.

This is the kind of crime where a person should never be released. How can you be rehabilitated from something as hideous as that? Why should he be able to leave prison and probably live another 30+ years as a free man?

In all seriousness thank you for sharing this information. It's really interesting, if depressing.1 in 6 is craziness: WHY? why do so many men get turned on by children? They can't all be disturbed, can't all have been abused to themselves (not that all those abused go on to abuse).. what on earth is going on?

The internet and porn addiction has created a lot more peadophiles. A lot of porn addicts were not initially attracted to children until they became addicted to porn. All of it needs banning.

It seems kind of strange to block any access to seeing or hearing children though. Isn't it better that they get off on watching cbeebies than child abuse images? I would worry that if their 'urges' are entirely frustrated they'll end up snapping and doing something more extreme.
Maybe unpopular opinion but I kind of feel the same about posting innocuous pictures of children online, when it comes to regular people with not many followers that is. It's not that different to taking your children out in the street. They could be seen by a pedophile who could then get off on the image they have in their mind without you ever knowing but as long as your child is safe is it really a danger? We can't lock all children up until adulthood in case a pedalo (and there are a lot of them) catches a glimpse of them.

I agree, if someone is free enough that they’ve got a sky box and are allowed in a supermarket trying to block access to CBeebies and ban them from going down the baby aisle just seems entirely unsustainable. If they’re that much of an ongoing risk they should be locked up, it’s the only way to mitigate that level of risk. Stopping someone who is in public from ever seeing or hearing children and babies is impossible, it’s one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard tbh.

I understand it would be tricky, working in prison is very unappealing as your likelihood of being assaulted increases. Within the prison environment though it should be male guards with males and same with females. I know that a lot of other workers may be female but relationships seem to be happening every other day so it should be monitored better. I don't think sex offenders should have any contact with a women whilst serving their sentence as its a risk factor. Outside the prison yes it would be more difficult but again it can be monitored.

I see your point but risks are so dynamic you’re not accounting for individualistic factors. Men can pose risks to other men more than women. Some men in establishments might be gay or bisexual as could staff. Sex offenders don’t only offend against women. There are famous male sex offenders / those who offend against children. It’s not a possible factor. Plus as a woman who works in CJ, and is very professional and takes pride in my work I don’t see a need to be “protected” from my own apparent naivety

That poor girl, abused and then not believed by her own mother. Scum didn't deserve to die, should've served his sentence. Hope her other family members get closure one day.

It was the police commissioner who called them far right, it wasn't just pulled out of thin air. But also, the far right are very much having a moment right now and it is very concerning how they can mobilise people like this. We have to name the problem if we want to address it.

There are people on TikTok speaking out against these vloggers and TikTokers using their kids for content, ignoring their right to privacy, perv baiting etc.,

That perv baiting that mothers seemingly choose to do on TikTok is sickening.

I watched a Tiktok where someone reposted a seemingly innocent video of a toddler eating something like a lollipop. Then they pointed out that this really banal looking video had hundreds of thousands of saves. Not likes, saves. And then showed the creepy comments from adult men saying “beautiful”, “gorgeous” etc There were other videos of the same child eating things that were more suggestive (think banana, hot dog, that kind of thing).

I’ve also seen mommy bloggers on Instagram attracting creepy comments from men about their toddlers.

It’s not even a tiny minority of men getting off on this content. It’s more widespread than we can ever imagine.

A friend’s sister had everyone round on Boxing Day when the police turned up to arrest her husband due to down loading CSA images. It was quite high level. At first his wife fell apart but then she got angry as SS were involved with the children. Within a few months she had put the house on the market, moved in with her parents until she got back on her feet. Started divorce proceedings. Yet her husband’s mother blamed her and was extremely nasty locally about her. The ex husband went to prison and now lives with his mother unable to work but it’s still my friend’s sisters fault!
