You are exactly right. Who'd want to run a gym giving all the profits back to the community when you could be earning shitloads running county lines? It's the same with car washes. they launder your car and launder your money ! I hate to be cynical too but have too much knowledge of this sort of thing (second hand I hasten to add)I’m a cynical bastard but I just want to say that half of the men like Craig who are running these ‘gyms,’ are still in the game. Recruiting and laundering through them. Not all of them (I’m sure he’s legit,) but a lot of them.
That’s part of the problem we face with drug gangs. No one can be trusted. Sorry just felt like getting it out because it pisses me off daily tbh

Ok, back in the day I thought R was doing a fab job and I assumed she was doing much more than she was. I have managed to fine a message I sent in July 2018… please ignore the smoke being blown up her arse at the time, like I said I hadn’t had my eyes opened to the real woman at that point.

Needless to say I had a reply back from Hannah asking me to contact a lady who collates info from people like me… ??? And to call woman’s aid to find the nearest refuge to me…
Hi, I’m not really sure what I am asking or if the idea I have in my head would work, help or be of any use!?? I thought you may be able to help and point me in the right direction. I have followed you for sometime and admire what you do and how you help lost vulnerable women. I would like to do the same or at least help.I live in Devon and was maybe thinking of starting up a coffee morning or get together for women who need extra help or guidance to make the steps to leave and forge a better life for themselves. I would be happy to source things they may need, clothes, baby items, toys, books, school uniforms anything really.
I have absolutely no qualifications in this field but what I do have is a bit of time and a strong urge to give something back and help people who are in a tit situation and can see no way out. I can be their voice and possibly give them some strength and courage needed.
I realise you are mental busy and probably get loads of msgs a day, if this one gets through and I can help, please let me know how.

Honestly I know he can be a bit of a Knob and not everyone’s cup of tea but the guy seem something needed done in the 80’s and worked his ass off to get the charity single and concert to go ahead with the biggest names at the time.
He also took in his children’s youngest sibling when both parents died to ensure she was well looked after and have a relationship with her siblings. No toxic cutting off from family in Sir Bobs mansion
He was also already a star when he started his charity work, never expected to climb on top of poor people to elevate himself.

I’ve put surprised emoji but I’m not surprised at all. I bet they don’t log any concerns, referrals or advice they’ve given. Can you imagine if there’s a learning outcome following a fatal domestic incident & the victim has reached out to Raq & her babysitter/cleaner/dogsbody & received a ‘that’s tit Hun’ In my role I have to account for every contact, we often have to attend multi agency meetings & liaise with all concerned. This woman will have blood on her hands. Good on you for trying. I do my own thing to help people and work with reputable charities. When I wrote that message I was obviously aware that I had no professional qualifications to take on such a role but totally assumed she did and could be that role in the cafe should i have pulled it off. I now know that she has no qualifications at all reall to be dealing with vulnerable people. Only have to look at how she deals with her kids!
