Poverty porn always backfires on influencers.
I think the reason why her downfall may be slower with it is that her fan base may have less going on up top than for some of the other mum influencers (this is my opinion, but given her content you can see why I think this way). So instead of seeing what the more intelligent audience see, ie I'm on a tour of deprived areas but watch me go out and shed loads of money on food and drink - her audience see her just doing the poverty stuff and having a good time.

Don't be arrogant enough to think that, because it's your money, flaunting your wealth eating a meal is your right - immediately after the poverty content. Its a massive own goal. Look at the MOFOD debacle with their water tour and their luxurious lifestyle.
Yes, you can do both. But work out how to do it appropriately without coming across arrogantly, which wasn't helped by the awful comments made ie its our money, so what? So what is that you're supposed to be highlighting poverty issues and helping raise awareness of how others can help.
The whole influencer thing is a way of making people spend. It doesn't sit well with charity work on poverty.
Do you know... if she actually took a humble stance and said this has made me readdress my spending and extravagance I think she would get a massive positive result from that. Basic PR! Then maybe did a how I've cut down, how I've realised we are lucky, how I've made sustainable choices etc etc.
Do it but make it authentic Rach and don't then change back 2 months later...
