Have to say that if L is so anxious she can’t go to school she would be well served by her ‘parents’ giving her some stability and not bleeping off here, there and everywhere each weekend leaving her to her own devices. Riddled with anxiety but having massive parties, underage drinking don’t go hand in hand. I would put money on other things being at play here- whether that’s L struggling due to people bringing up what her mum posts online, friendship issues, R wanting to avoid safeguarding issues being flagged up etc. I’m a teacher. I know girls like Lula. Online schooling is not going to help her.
100% fully agree 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I was thinking, we don't actually know if it was Rachael's choice to remove her or if school have said she can't stay. Rachael has mentioned continuously that Lula has been challenging at school so perhaps they just had enough.

It occurred to me because I just can't see Josh not fuming over them spending £7.5k on a year of school. Or Rachael to be honest. But he definitely hates spending money in the kids.

As in she was suspended or excluded?

It's almost as if they've quickly whipped her out of school before their home life can be questioned. There are alternatives out there, but they need fighting for and involvement and contact from social workers and other services usually.

I mean, the school fees for the year could buy him another 5 grand watch with plenty of change 🤷

Maybe? Might be in a sort of non dramatic way of them saying they cant do anything more to support her in school. (Idk, I haven't had any school issues with my kids so I am not sure how it works in these situations.)

It definitely makes sense with how we have seen her behaviour 🤷‍♀️

I don’t think she’s been excluded as such- it takes a LOT to get to that point now and is very much a last resort. I think it will have been more along the lines of this is the support we can/have provided and if you don’t think that’s enough then perhaps you need to look elsewhere; I imagine the school have probably refused to acquiesce to one of R’s demands and she has retaliated by removing L.

I don't think she's been excluded! School do everything these days to keep pupils in school rather than being homeschooled..... R has 100% removed her for her not L at all. She's drilled it into L that she has difficulties and L has believed her because she wants the attention so badly from her mum!

If ever there was a reason to stop filters...

what the duck is she doing. How can she upload this and think its decent enough! Filters are wack for so many reasons. But my god what is she hiding if she thinks this could ever be better.

Why is she not fighting for Lula to get an EHCP. There are many specialist small schools within Torbay and slightly further afield that can support Lula with her core subjects and then subjects that work for her. Classes of arpound 4 students with assigned mentors available throughout the day? Pretty successful for students with school based anxiety (the route they are clearly going down)
Because controlling abusive narcs want to control and destroy anything in others peoples lives. She doesn't want T to be OK,do ok. She also wants her issues as fodder for her online money making. It's control. It's belittling. It's knocking those around you down so they become smaller than you,and easy to control as they lose themselves.

T is very intelligent and I reckon all the behaviour related stuff at school is being bored and not challenged enough from Rach and Josh.

T probably could probably easily leave to go to Uni and move away from Rach control.

That's why she's pulling her out of school as it'll be harder for T to go to Uni by homeschooling.

She'd probably try to home school E too but she'd need her dad's permission which would never happen

Yes that's what I meant, in a sort of mutual agreement kind of way. There are only a certain amount of resources available, if they've exhausted all of them then schools are really in a no win situation. I understand that children vary and their needs aren't always the same, but at the end of the day our kids are one of millions of others and I think some parents have a hard time remembering that. It's not wrong to remind your child of that every now and again either, it gives them a little humility to grow with.

People like Rach are the reason why I keep all my autistic child’s struggles around anxiety and going out of the house (not just to school) to myself. For the people who are really involved in these issues, it’s exhausting and very upsetting. You constantly worry about their future and constantly feel like you’re failing your child.
I’ve never regarded it a ‘flex’ or something with which to gain social media clout.

She’s doing the very opposite of being an advocate for SEN issues in this country tbh and it drives me mad when she reposts from actual accounts who do understand the struggles most of us face.

How fortunate R is to be able to afford to throw money at all these problems (long wait times for assessment/support/diagnosis/online tutoring) and still be able to carry out all her social activities (‘going gym’, ‘going pub’, going on numerous holidays!) without being affected by L’s problems. She’s also very fortunate that L’s anxiety only seems to affect her school attendance.

I wonder how long E has left before the diagnoses start heading her way.
I'll diagnose E, 1,000,000% spoilt little witch

Homeschooling worries me from a safeguarding aspect. I’m sure the school has made several safeguarding related referrals for T in the past couple of years just based on what we see online. It concerns me there will no longer be anyone watching out for her from that perspective.
My thoughts exactly. Taking her out of school and away from that radar warrants a safeguarding referral in itself. Particularly as others have said, she is clearly being groomed and coerced by her mother in terms of selling her privacy. She is a child who needs protecting, urgently.

I believe schools are not allowed to exclude or suspend children due to anxiety/SEN behaviour, especially when they have diagnoses. If school demonstrated that they could not support her, they would have to refer back to the LA who would secure alternative provision.

Sorry, but this is slightly fake news. My friends friend has a son with diagnosed ADHD and he was suspended muuuuuuultiple times due to bad behaviour. I think it must vary school to school.
